Happy New Year Erme! (And what a pretty 'Happy New Year' sign you put up for us!)

Glad you're eating again. :) I'm increasingly convinced good eating makes for a big boost to well-being, which reminds me I need to get more vitamins soon...

Yours has to be the most positive NY post I've seen so far! I didn't know you before this autumn though I've picked up that you've had good and bad days. It's important you can see them for what they are. I guess like a lot of people you become a specialist in your own condition and knowing what works for you, though I suppose that's difficult when you're in the thick of it. Anyhow here's to a fabulous 2012 for you, and many more batches of home baking for great doctors and nurses. ;)

Just wondering if you found my thread because of the mention of coffee? ;) As a fellow caffeine fan, I hadn't heard of coffee psychosis but I know too much coffee, even decaff, does very odd things to my temperature. I tell myself I'm getting away with it but then I start getting hot flushes - ha ha, giving my age away now! LOL.

    Happy New Year hun. :)

    I feel pants this am....

I had a bit of paranoia (somehow happened in the bath) last night :(...

This am the heartburn is terrible (well actually not too bad) and now I have nausea...

Of course out of hours are chocca already and like they'll be a 4 hour call back time whereby you can't go out in case they call you back. All I need to know is whether or not to go back on my omeprazole...

I shall try cider vinegar, honey and warm water and slippery elm in the interim but still......

Annoying or what? I don't know if I shall phone the doc on Wednesday if I still have it as like they'll be mobbed...or whether I shall just try and get an appt...I have no idea...It really just needs a call as I have a history of gastritis..

But had so much housework planned for today which is now on hold. Of course it could just be anxiety - even delayed anxiety so time will tell

Ah, poor you, that sounds miserable. Will milky drinks hold it at bay?

Don't worry about the housework - it will still be there when you're ready for it.

{hugs}(from a distance so you don't get germs).

I'm so flat with post holiday blues and tired you would not believe...

I just want to veg out in bed with a book and nothing is making me chirpy...

Got the washing off the airer and like some clothes cleared away which was good..

Och and my suitcase taken back to Mr. A...

Noticed custard (dried - BB Aug 2012) down to 6p a packet (basics) and my rice pudding did taste good at lunch (was all I could manage) so like got more of that @ 13p a tin :)

Do you know, the 6p custard lurks (in a packet) at the bottom of my work bag - so if I remember to take a banana I have a midnight feast. :D

As for rice pudding - yum! Though I tend to do homemade because there's someone who needs lactose-free milk. My favourite in the tins is the one with sultanas in which is about 70p - surely a lot more than it costs to make it? 13p is indeed bargainaceous. (I'm not sure that's a word but it might be).

Hope you get your appetite back soon but take it easy till you feel ready to be active again. I think you might have worn yourself out a bit?

    Thanks Miggy dearest....

Sorry about you needing lactose free - sounds horrid :(

Anyhow up late but then went to bed late

But still...on schedule and feeling a little less paranoid this am :)...keep thinking the pills are designed to make me less political and that my pdoc is the evil henchmen (even though he's a sweetheart really)...Hmm...this is not good when it's pill time LOL....

Anyhow back on the omeprazole for the heartburn and it's working a little though I think it'll need a call to the docs on Thursday to get confirmed....I think eating better will also help..

This am I was greeted with a tonne of washing up from the lemon chicken I made last night (sauce from fair share. Most of it was microwaved bar the last bit) so will have to menu plan and go food shopping later despite the gales and wind (methinks I'm going to get soaked!!!)

Also online banking is playing up again this am

At some point (remind me) I have to get on ebay and like sell some stuff...Don't know when though..I have cards and bags and things...

And like I have more training with the local polytechnic at the end of the month so that'll be a lovely M+S voucher :)...Yay could really do with them quite frequently till I start work..

Also just when I wanted to iron I lost the iron yesterday LOL...I actually have two (you don't want to know what the other's primary use is for) but couldn't find my clothes iron..

Boys are happy. Praise God I managed to feed them yesterday. Hope it's knitting on Thursday night. Will have to check ravelry :)...

Now the question is next crochet project? Socks or enhance my ripple afghan for the leather chair I got from the charity shop...

You can email the medics if it will help - that's what they're there for and if that helps you, then go for it. Maybe it's better to email them sooner and feel better sooner too?

    Look after yourself. :)

    They're still plotting...

I slept without the radio on last night and only took 1/3 dose of meds...

Seriously thinking of going back on full dose though cos this 'aint worth it :(

    It's pants...

Not least when there's meds that can help..

    Praise God am eating....

Just saying that makes me feel so much better..Now you see why I get monthly injections - cos taking pills and me doesn't always mix....:rotfl: (well I would if I didn't feel so pants)..

And amazon still haven't refunded my monies ...Pray it comes through by the end of the week :)..they haven't quite taken it out but neither have they refunded

this is from the blocked ear stuff that you remember that I fixed with hydrogen peroxide...
