afternoon!
after a lazy morning (asleep), just sorting out breakfast (porridge with my usual apple/pear/plum/sultana/cinnamon/nuked mix) and then i have to get going - very late, i know..
before i forget: :grouphug: to looby_loo and anyone else who needs one!
off to aldi in a bit, which is only down the road, just to pick up a couple bits and pieces.. then got to make bread, maybe some lemon crunch, and do the ironing. pizza for tea (asda's own frozen) as our weekly treat.
btw Shez, it wasn't me that recommended Wilkos for the incense, lol, but i'm glad you got what you wanted. i love incense too - we both do, in fact. we use it instead of airfreshner.
oh, usernames: i got mine back in 1999 when i first started chatting on the net. i figured out quickly that i couldn't use my real name (all kinds of wierd people out there ya know) and i was - like most people - racking my brains. then my eye fell on a book i was reading at the time, a fantasy novel by Mercedes Lackey, and the principle character was called kethry. so i used that, and the name's stuck over the years, with variations.. i think more people know me by kethry or "keth" than know me by my real name (liz). certainly only the family really call me liz these days.
anyway, hope everyone has a good day!

Just back from Lewisham on the bus with a carrier full of small sweet potatoes, another full of Cox's apples, two butternut squash, three huge leeks, a small bunch of bananas which the lady who sold me the leeks gave me as a freebie :A
That little lot cost me £4, by the way :money:
AND
A set of bedding and two spare pillowcases from TK Maxx, a packet of millet (so I can try out Gillian McKeith's millet mash) and some Kallo stock cubes (currently on special offer at Holland & Barrett), today's copy of the Times, and the two pairs of boots I took to get reheeled.
I think my arms are falling off

Hello all,
Just having a tea break and some lunch
Right, have cleaned the living room windows inside and out, dusted, sorted through loads of paperwork and geneally tidied up. Oh, and I've given the balcony a good scrub as well. OH has cleaned the kitchen for me...except when he took the recycling out, he failed to notice a half full beer bottle and ended up tracking beer all over the carpet
He's also just cleared the table for his lunch by literally sweeping/chucking everything off it onto the floor. Yes, those piles of stuff were organised, ready to be put away in a minute. Thanks darling. Its alright - I don't mind spending another 45 minutes sorting them out.We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
(((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))) looby-loo That is so sad.My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

ok i got curious and took a look. I quite fancy a wallytrolley too. then i saw the price. HOW MUCH?!!!   Wilkos sell them for between 10 and 20 quid. Then i got to wondering: would it be possible to buy the cheap one, then make a new bag out of nicer (brighter) fabric?
just a thought!

Ta muchly RacyRed
I had in fact just been browsing the Rolser website anyway! However I am going to check out John Lewis first as I have a £10 voucher, so if I find one I like that is cheaper than a Rolser I might go for that On the other hand, Rolser does pink ones
I'll be passing John Lewis tomorrow so will broaden my wally trolley mind then...Operation Get in Shape
