UGH, have just boiled 2 eggs for my breakfast and one came out uncooked and the other came out hard!! How does that happen?! OH has eaten the hardboiled egg, but what can I do with the uncooked one (have already broken into it)?We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0

Hello all,
Happy birthday to arkonite babe, and a belated happy birthday to N9eav :bdaycake:
*hugs* to looby-loo and friend
Its been rather a nice morning here - sun is shining, and its not too cold outside. Got a lie in this morning, followed by a trip into town where I treated myself and my lovely OH to something from the bakery for lunch. Also went to one of the local charity shops where I managed to get 20 books for £6 which should keep me going for about, ooooh, at least a week :rotfl: Definately value for money though as once I'm finished with them they'll find their way over to kyle and from there to her SIL so its money well spent!
Got a little bit of a headache left over from yesterday - I was suffering even with tablets before I went to bed  But hopefully now it'll clear up with another dose. Was one of those 'where did the week go'? evenings - was great to realise it was the weekend!
Plans for today: we're going out for a drive soon, but not sure where we're going - just out
Will also have the WM on and have a clear through the kitchen when we get back. Got some lovely deals at Somerfield so got the shopping sorted yesterday. Will probably be making a big fruit salad later, and need to lift mince out of the freezer so I can make lasagne at some point.
Usernames - like some of you, I was totally stuck when trying to think of a username when I started coming here, and for some reason 'squishy' popped into my head.....it's true enough though, I am rather *well-padded* or squishy
*hugs* to all, take or leave as you please...hope you all have as good a day as possible! :j0 -
Afternoon all. Happy Birthday Arkonite Babe :bdaycake: and hugs to looby-lou. Poor little children, losing their mum at such a young age. Heard yesterday that a neighbour died last Friday leaving teenagers, it's so hard
Haven't been on here for ages, have had a few computer probs and also work gets in the way. Not much going on in the FF household except that me and Mr FF have just had a blazing row over money  he thinks I should account to him for every single penny I spend, when it's me that does the money saving and the scrimping and saving. I haven't asked him yet how much he spent on Friday night when at the pub with friends from work
It's a beautiful sunny day here today though so I think I'm going to take out my frustration on the garden, I'm really inspired to try growing some (easy) veggies this year so need to clear out my pots ready for the seedlings (when I've sown them :rotfl: ),
Have a good day everyone, hugs to those who need them.

Afternoon All
I finally ventured back to bed at 6.45am, OH totally had the king size quilt wrapped around him - not for long tho, as I pulled it right off! :rotfl:
He got up about about half an after that and jumped in the spare bed. Yippee, I manged about an hr & half kip before the kids got up
Sorted out all the clean washing & put away, WM & TD on again, DW emptied & reploaded. Kids clothes ironed ready for the week end with their dad. All bathed and dressed ready to go, just waiting for ex to fetch them, then must tackle the shopping.
Its hard thinking of names when signing on here, mine's something which came into me head! Wish I had used summit else now. Neva mind
Got plenty of sortin out to do later, after reading a thread somewhere ref "what you think you couldn't sell on ebay" - has totally opened my eys. Anything from used car tax discs to used t-bags. MMmmmm *searching now to see what I can find* Nothing ventured - nothing gained
Right best be off
Catch you later's
love as usual

Afternoon Guys!
Another washload done after finding dirty clothes in DD's room:rolleyes: Just about to be hung out and other load bought in as all dried up lovely. DD's room has been "spring cleaned" as she calls is and mainly done by herself:T ...I just helped with the wardrobe so I could see what she was [STRIKE]hoarding[/STRIKE] keeping. Now have another black bag of clothes to Ebay or bootsale:D She has done very well this morning, so cant complain too much;) She has done a very thorough tidy through and has even labelled her Bratz dolls for the Bootsale we intend to do next month. Her room is quite small so she has boxes under the bed-they havent been sorted in ages, so alot has been binned and put to sell.
Tiling is looking lovely. OH is cutting in around the windows in the kitchen and looks quite fiddly:eek:    ..rather him than me. Kitchen looks so much brighter with the white tiles as the sunlight is reflecting off them. Cant wait to post pics once done...you wont believe the difference. He is listening to Frank Sinatra
...whatever works for him I suppose:D
Sorted and paid for an engagement pressy for a party weve been invited to next month. Its a lady off Ebay who makes HM folk art plaques which are to die for. It has cost £12 including postage but this is personalised with the date of engagement and their names and has a saying above. They are so beautiful and well worth the money. Have used her about 6 times and have never been disapointed. Her Ebay ID is DizzyDots if anyone is interested. It will take 2 weeks but have left enough time etc.
OH has the school shop on Tuesday and DD needs another skirt as she only has the one and could do with a back up. They seem to be so short but then she is 5 foot 5:eek:   with a size six foot:eek:   would also like another PE polo shirt. Have some stuff to swap with so shouldnt cost us anything. Last month OH managed to get a BN pair of Hockey Boots (next size up), 2 shirts and a jumper. Saved us about £90:D It can be abit tricky as every other year they have a different pleat in the skirt, so we have to make sure we get the right one....anything to make more money:rolleyes:
We sat out in the garden to have our lunch. We had sarnies and crisps with yogurt for desert. Took me coffee out there too and was lovely sitting there chatting with them both. Its funny how you come to appreciate many things when ill that you truly didnt notice before.
Anyway, Im chatting too much and sorry for taking up so much of your time.
Hugs to all.

Not much happening here. Just to give you all a giggle my OH and ds have just been shopping as it's my birthday next week. My son picked up some lotion in a shop and said at the top of his voice "ooohhh we can get this for mummy and she can put it in her special drawer by the bed". Aparently people in the store were cracking up :rotfl:
Have a lovely day
