Hmmm maybe it's the pizzas, saying that they haven't eaten it yet, my fault not timing the BM right :o

Rather annoyed with DP, he was in a right mood this morning and has just annoyed me more on the phone, we were discussing what to do tomorrow *SHOCK HE'S NOT BUSY* and he started bleating on about him 'Having a life' making sure he has a dig that at the minute I don't and neither do the boys. Well I'm going to chuffing change that if it's the last thing I do, only downside I need a trailer where the back drops down. This could be more tricky than I first thought.

Pleased to hear she's home tiredmum :)
One day I might be more organised...........

twink no way could you be described as grumpy. You are one of the loveliest people on this board. :A

Lil me DS has just broken a plate trying to put some pizza on it  (spooky about both mine and yours having pizza though, huh?). He is a very, very clever young man but seems to have absolutely no common sense at times. I'm on here trying to keep my blood pressure under control. DD has been much better though I have to say. I had a one-to-one with her a wee while ago and she seemed to understand what I was saying to her so things have calmed down quite a bit.

thats a lovely thing to say anniebooklover, you have made an oldish :D lady very happy

tiredmum, glad dd is home, fraid you never stop worrying about your children, my gran still worried about hers and most of them were on the pension :D
  • evening all !! Hope you've all had a good day. moggins pleased to read that DD is feeling better today, glad your daughter is home safe and well tired mum. I dread to think what I put my mother through as a teenager.

Had a pretty good day today, went out this morning to do all the errands, put my car in to have new tyres fitted (ouch at the cost!) and while it was there went charity shop shopping and got some more books :)

I finally cleaned my red Doc Martin boots today, 2 1/2 years ago we went camping and they got really muddy and I never bothered to clean them afterwards, and it's taken me until now to do so ! Atleast now I can wear them again.

oooooh sounds like dinner is ready. Hope you all have a good evening.

  • tired mum glad DD is home safe and well. I think you can probably expect a lot worse when she is about 18 or 19. ;)

Lil me, I have to ask this, why do you need a trailer with a back that drops down?? Are you planning on dropping your DP over a big cliff??? ;) :rotfl:

I don't have that problem any longer. XDH never went out during the weekend or on weeknights as he "worked hard and only wanted to relax". DS, DD and I didn't feel the same way. We wanted to go visit family, go out for lunch, go to the park, etc. Strange thing is, now that we are apart he goes out with DS and DD regularly. If he had done that when we were together we might still be together!

Edited to say twink I believe that you should always mean what you say and say what you mean. Kyle is lucky to have you as a mum. Oooh, that sounds as though I don't love my mum. Soooooo not true. My mum is the kindest woman in the world and all of my family would do absolutely anything for her.

    Tired mum

So glad she is home safe - I think those of us who had been there could totally feel the emotions. Don't be too hard on her - just point out that you require a wee phone call!

    Twink

You are not grumpy at all. You appear to be a great support for Kyle!

    Lots of love.

annie you have just made me spit my coffee out laughing, haven't done that for a while :D

Twink I agree although you are too young to be my Mum :( My mum does nothing but moan and be completely unsupportive. When I phoned to tell her I could not take her shopping because DD was in hospital the only comment I got was "why do we never get anything but bad luck"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best one she ever came out with was when I was pregnant with DD1. I was in hospital with a threatened miscarriage (11 weeks pregnant) and I hadn't yet told anybody except DH. She came in to visit me and asked me if I'd lost it, when I said no she replied "can't you get them to take it away then?" DH didn't speak to her for four years after that :D

omg moggins is that what your mum said? no wonder your dh didnt speak to her for four years, even my stepmother wouldnt have said that and she was a one

did it sound as if i was calling myself grumpy, mind dh might have agreed :D but that is the name of one of my cats, he used to hiss and spit at the least thing, not now though, but thanks for the compliments, everyone is lovely here xx
  • moggins glad I could make you chuckle. Could have done with drop-sided trailer myself at times in my marriage. ;)

I think some women are just not cut out to be mothers. Some women have no maternal or protective instinct. It must have been awful for these women (before the 60s say) to know that they were expected to marry, have children and stay at home raising these children.

I have to say that I can see why your DH didn't speak to your mother for years, moggins.
