anniebooklover must be something in the air as my 2 have been at each other all evening too, but they are a little younger, was hoping to get them to help make their own pizzas together, but looks like they will have to do it seperately. Hope your Saturday improves :)
One day I might be more organised...........

Mice (btw what's the history of YOUR name?), I noticed on Friends the other night that Jennifer Aniston appeared to be wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring AND wedding ring on her wedding finger IYSWIM and this was long before she was engaged to Brad Pitt. So maybe its a fashion statement? I don't understand it myself. When I was young (around the 1600s - well it feels like that long ago anyway) you never ever wore a ring on your wedding finger as that was a sure sign that you were unavailable. Maybe these days being engaged doesn't mean the same.

Cattie (I hope its you), take your children bowling. They and you are as entitled as any to bowl. I think you will find that they enjoy the experience so much that they won't bother anyone. Have a great time.
    yes it was me:D
Well, DS and DD have been arguing off and on for the the last hour or so and DD has managed to kick a hole in DS's bedroom door.  I am sooooo cross with both of them right now. They seem to take great pleasure in winding each other up and then telling tales. I wouldn't mind if they were around 4 or 5 but DS is 15 in October and DD is 11 in May. All treats are now cancelled for the forseeable future. I am in no mood to put up with their infantile nonsense.

Hope your Saturday night is better than mine.[/QUOTE]
oh dear! I remeber this happening all too often in my house with my sis and bro (3 years age difference-cost £80 a door!)
thankyou very much to everyone. We are going bowling tonight so I will let you all know how it goes 2moro! (feeling quite excited now!)

Rugby just finished. Oh dear, what are Scotland up to!

What are they up to indeed!!

Hubby did say they would be gubbed but I didn't think it would be that bad. They had quite a not bad start as well.
  • twink no way could you be described as grumpy. You are one of the loveliest people on this board. :A

Lil me DS has just broken a plate trying to put some pizza on it  (spooky about both mine and yours having pizza though, huh?). He is a very, very clever young man but seems to have absolutely no common sense at times. I'm on here trying to keep my blood pressure under control. DD has been much better though I have to say. I had a one-to-one with her a wee while ago and she seemed to understand what I was saying to her so things have calmed down quite a bit.

Or maybe it's one of those...(I can't remember the proper name) rings to declare your virginity?

Aren't they fantastic! They have such personalities! The big brown males are just so laid back. Friend had a tortoiseshell female (18 when had to depart this life) who was totally off the wall (literally!) and would get you to stroke her and then without warning bit chunks out of you!

Hope you get another one. Sounds like it was a painful parting - so sorry.

Oh yes, my Sam (big black male) was a lovely lap cat, loved everyone, and Suki (smaller girl) was a mummys cat, they used to fight over my lap, and i would quite often have them lying all over me when i lay on the sofa - who needs heating when you have cats!!!! Very MSE!!!!

I'm really glad she's home tired mum.

Make sure she knows that it's not that you don't trust her but just that you worry. Our eldest two know I go into orbit if I can't get hold of them and both of them are now really good at phoning home to touch base because they know I worry [strike]too[/strike] so much.
