Can I ask for my postman to be changed?-parcel now LOST!

He retired at 60, and is now 63, so 2008 ish? Give or take a year as its late, and I'd coming up to his birthday, plus I can't remember if he went bang on 60, making the maths difficult he also continued to work part time for a while, but I cannot for the life of me remember how long for!

He did work on the counter in his later years, but had close connections with the depot through friends as well as professionally. They were told of changes at the depot so they could offer the correct advice to customers, as many of course don't realise that they are (or were, could have changed again I suppose) seperate companies, and would ask in the post office about sorting office matters. He did however work in the sorting office for 20 around 15 years, though before the changes mentioned. After this, the sorting office was still based in the back of the local post office where he worked on the counter, before it was relocated around 8 years ago.

I read the OP a bit too quickly and thought they wanted their postie hanged.Think that might be a little harsh.

missing out on being able to pick up packages is a pain in the bum especially this close to xmas I'd complain.

I'm about to put a complaint in myself. My postie leaves letters in my letterbox half sticking out so anyone could take them this includes bills and bank statements, I'm really annoyed. Going to take some pictures to back up my complaint.

however does your card often ay leave 48 hours for collection?

It is problems like this which stop me from ordering anything online unless the firm is willing to deliver/post to my workplace (and the item is not too big to carry home). Alternatively I collect from a store nearby if there is one. Suppliers which refuse to send your first order to a work address are automatically ignored.

Never that long, 6 hours at most usually.

Like I said, this isn't something I've ordered, it must be a Xmas gift as all my posted things now go to my work as I'm fed up with losing things.
