Mine came alien yellow, like fluorescent yellow, it was in transit for 5 days but has now gone to a healthy green and started really growing quite quickly!

Mine too (the tete a tete daffs). Good packaging and they greened up almost immediately and are looking strong and healthy and are in bud.

I am keeping them for myself now. I am not a winter person and now the shortest day has passed, seeing these first reminders of Spring cheers me up no end :D

My princettia has dropped most if it's leaves, despite me following the instructions to the letter, and my mum's cyclamen looks like it's at deaths door. The recipient of the hibiscus has said it's lovely, so I hope it is and they aren't just being polite :(

  • Mine were all great when they arrived, it was a couple of days later that they croaked! Maybe should have chosen a hardier plant but we live and learn :)
  • My Princettia is rapidly going towards the twig stage, every time I go near it more leaves etc fall off it, despite following the care instructions :(

My hyacinth however seems to be thriving so I am hoping that will survive.

I think in future I will stick with the local garden centre as I can pick my plant and get it home quickly. I'm sure it hasn't helped leaving the plants to the 'tender' ministrations of Royal mail after leaving the growers

I ordered the hibiscus and it is beautiful. I was a bit worried as it was delivered a few days before Christmas and I have a terrible track record when it comes to house plants :D I managed to keep it alive, Grandma loved it and the buds were just starting to open when I gave it to her on Christmas morning.

I'm not impressed and don't think I'll buy plants by post again. My Campanula Crown Princess arrived a few days before Christmas, a few of the flowers were yellowing but other than that it was okay and I thought it would pick up. Unfortunately it's ready for the bin now, it looks like it's at deaths door and I've followed the care instructions. It was a present for a friend and I'm so pleased I didn't have it delivered directly to her because I'd be embarrassed if she'd received it, I certainly would have expected a plant to last more than a week.

Just been to my mams & her hyacynth is doing great. A little pale with being kept in the box maybe but really worth the money. Sprouted about 5 inches since delivered last Friday. Really pleased with it.
Bought 2 ponsettiers at Tesco end November for 37p each & still doing okay considering. Lost some leaves but sounds better than most of yours.

  • Just contacted customer service, waited in queue for 15 minutes. told could only refund not replace even though I heard other operators offering replacements in background didnt seem very worried re all my relatives receiving dead plants but why should they really. Wonnt be dealing with them again as what I thought would be a stress free way of dealing with relatives miles away has turned into a bit of a nightmare. You live and learn.

Sadly my Aunty's Princettia arrived in a sorry state, which is rather is rather upsetting for her and embarrassing for me. T&M were helpful on the phone - I clearly heard other call operators in the background having similar 'sorry about that' type conversations. I was offered a choice of replacement from here:

Princettia now out of stock but I asked for a cyclamen bellissima instead as it is a similar colour. Fingers crossed this time!

My 2 Princettias lost all their leaves/bracts too - had taken over a week to arrive in very cold weather. I have emailed T&M but have heard nothing. My 2 hibiscus are fine but I understood when ordering that I was also getting a free plant and nothing else has come - all very disappointing.
