I ordered 2 Anthurium Mini Bouquet pots on Monday and have just had an email to say they were dispatched today, it says 5 days for delivery but am not overly worried, one is for me the other for my elderly aunt, be a nice surprise for her in the new year. xx

My plant arrived this morning, but not the one I ordered, there is a note saying they had ran out and have sent me hyacinths instead, it is a lovely straw basket with 5 very strong and quite big shoots, the moss is lovely and green, it appears very well watered. It is sitting happily in my kitchen window and will look lovely when they flower.
  • Well, my Princetta is almost dead.It arrived about a week ago and nothing I can do. I wouldn't buy again, disappointed.

Having read alot of negative stuff on here about the quality of the flowers I've emailed to cancel my order. I'd rather buy plants of good quality as it would be embarassing to have them dead/dying. I bought my family ponceiattas (sp) from Ikea and they are awful and the leaves fell off pretty much straight away which just upset my family members.

There is green foliage. Some of it is brown though. Should I remove the brown bits?

The stuff on top is the moss, you don't need to remove any of it, it should be a mix of brown and green and twiggy bits. I have a basket sat on my window sill. I was always told to water the moss instead of the soil/bulbs as over watering the bulbs directly can make the bulbs go mushy/rotten and that the bulbs will draw moisture out the moss.

Mine came alien yellow, like fluorescent yellow, it was in transit for 5 days but has now gone to a healthy green and started really growing quite quickly!

Mine have been lovely, generally - some dead leaves, but just taken them off.

Royal Mail were crap, though. The boxes VERY clearly say "Live Plants - THIS WAY UP" and every single one has been on its side or upside down. I had to collect two from the post office, both were upside down, and one of them was a tall plant and nearly wrecked. Luckily I've managed to save it.

Thanks! Yes mine were quite yellow when they arrived. I've had mine on the windowsill for two days and they are showing signs of growth. Hopefully by tomorrow they will be just about presentable as a gift...:T
