Well, I think it's inapropriate and wouldn't be pleased about it. I would however, let it go.:heart2:I have a child with autism.:heart2:0

If she's coming straight out and saying it to you, there's nothing sordid at playMortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0

Would it be OK for a male teacher to say a young girl in his class was sexy? Or that the boys in the class found her sexy?Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0

She was letting you know that he was sexually attractive to his peer group. How else would you have her say that to you? She didn't labour it, but used verbal short hand.
I too didn't let my kids have facebook until they were old enough.0 -

For a teacher to use it, just seems really strange. I'm not thinking that something is going on, but it makes me very uneasy.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
She was too descriptive, I think thats what has upset you. She could have just said that your son was very popular and leave it at that.
The rest of it was a bit weird, but personally I dont think you have anything to worry about. Some days I wake up Grumpy ... Other days I let him lie in.0 -
I dont think she should have fed his ego like that but i dont think she was expressing her own opinion of him either, its more of an observational comment.
When we had parents evening i wasnt ever allowed to hear what was said.MFW - <£90kAll other debts cleared thanks to the knowledge gained from this wonderful website and its users!0 -
I think it's quite sad your sons school is making such an issue of his popularity.
When I was at school I was in what you would call the 'popular' group. The teachers didn't care and certainly never brought it up during conversations with my parents. It just wasn't important. And playing on all the school teams was never an excuse to getting out of detention.
I imagine his head is the size of a large tower block after hearing these comments? I know mine would have been if I thought my teachers agreed with how 'cool' I was.
Seriously I'd wouldn't draw attention to it.0
