    Loads do.

Just check Virgin Atlantic, for example, who allow you as much as ... 6kg. ;)

Gosh, whodathought it. Ryanair's allowance is 67% higher than Virgin's. :rotfl:
  • I took a relative to Heathrow recently who was travelling to South America with TAM Airlines. My car is an A6 and the boot was full and the back seat was full. 3x32kg for the hold and a cabin bag bigger than a Ryanair acdeptable one plus large shoulder bag plus a couple of carrier bags of stuff.

It only fitted on the airport trolley because I used to stack hay bales 10 layers high on trailers in my youth - one person could not push the trolley until we got inside on the smooth floor.

The third 32kg bag was apparently a recently earned regular flyer perk.

Otherwise it all went to South America for the price of a standard ticket :p
  • There's a brilliant little ebook about a guy that gets his own back.

It explains in amazing detail how he does it, giving all the legal stuff, and showing how the airline CAN DO NOTHING ABOUT IT!

I couldn't put it down, and going through the notes at the back, it kind of looks like the author actually done this himself.

The airlines think we're stupid, they just don't care at all.

    Google: budget airline revenge :hello:

and you'll see it for yourself.

Nobody really needs 32kg for a weekend in Barcelona do they though?

It was not 32kg of stuff, it was over 100kg of stuff - the mind boggles as to why somebody would need that amount
  • Boggle away jayok because your maths is correct even if your imagination is lacking :p

Maybe it was gold bars - or more likely Heinz tomato soup, but I posted it just to show that enormous differences still apply across the world's airlines.

If you have a two centre life then 10kg sometimes doesn't hack it.

Maybe he got it the wrong way round and was bringing drugs into South America instead of from South America?
  • To anyone who wants to beat the language charges by travelling with a hand language only:

I cannot recommend ‘Flylite’ highly enough: flylite.uk.com
The bags are great quality, durable, very light, do not wobble, and are delivered fast (I placed an order on a Friday morning and got my bags the next day without paying for express or Saturday delivery). Customer service is great too, I e-mailed them a couple of questions about the bags I was interested in and got a friendly and fast reply. I got a ‘Medium Foldaway Wheeled Cabin Holdall’ (55 x 40 x 20 cms) and already saved a fortune by avoiding paying for the checked baggage. :j

How much spam does it hold?

(Sorry to use English. I'm trying to avoid the language charges.)

Not sure why a recommendation is spam but, I can recommend them as well. Have been using one for a few years now. Not the wheeled version because that wan't available when I bought mine. The cabin bag equivalent holds far more than a standard case with the same dimensions.
