I have added £72 to my total today, made up from various on line sources, superpoints etc.
I am adding up my extra earnings and paying them off a debt instead of saving them up. I hope that by doing it this way i will be reducing my debts quicker.£10 a day challenge for nov £0/£300

I'm not sure what to do about vouchers - just spend them and add the total to the spreadsheet, or spend them and add the equivalent amount of money to my savings account?
I think I'm going to do the latter. If I get cash in hand, so anything from Cashback or money earned through a trial then I'll put it in a separate account. Otherwise, there will be things where I'm simply counting the value saving - such as doing my own DIYor even using a coupon or getting an item in the sale so that'll just be a figure on the spreadsheet.
I'm thinking of doing the sealed post challenge too - but without any target, just to see how much I can save from the pennies. Can I count two challenges in together?0 -

I'm putting mine into my ISA cause I want to build that up and not be able to touch the money!
As for vouchers, if it's for things I'd definitely have to spend money on anyway, e.g. supermarket vouchers, I'm going to save the money I would have spent, but if the voucher is for something non-essential e.g. Boots voucher spent on new make-up, I'm just going to add the value to the spreadsheet but not save the money. If that all makes sense.0 -

I am transferring mine to a savings account, I have found in the past that if you don't then the money ends up being spent in dribbs and drabbs :mad:Debt Free Diary - Second Chances! Life in a Tourer........Debt free, building a savings pot0 -
Hi, I am putting mine in an isa and buying the vouchers i earn from myself and saving that too.
What does everyone plan to do with the money? , I am overpaying the mortgage with half, and using the other half to pay for spending money for our holiday in devon and hopefully to help pay for some of the balance owing on a weekend in centerparcs. Fingers crossed as there is no money anywhere else for these things.:DMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

They still seem to regularly do them in our small M&S. I'm still yet to have one!
I'm making the conscious effort to not waste as much either. This so far has resulted in no food shop (apart from milk and Riverford fruit/veg deliveries) since 21st December. We are definately eating very well with home made cakes, pizzas, bread. come April my greenhouses should be back into full swing and we can start enjoying our home grown again. I buy meat in bulk or large joints that I cut down. I also open sausages etc and freeze them in 2's so you don't have to defrost a full packet and end up wasting them.
eBay is my only real source of funds at the moment and is so far doing very well. I'm saving the true value and then will over pay my Cabot debt once a month which should see it come down quite quickly, whilst maintaining my normal monthly payment I will hopefully have this disappear by the end of this year!
Sorry seem to be waffling a bit!Cabot (0%) left to pay £2455 let the overpayments commence!0 -
I'm interested in joining this but i'm very new to the whole concept ? can someone explain how this works? i set up a spreadsheet and update every day what i make and what i save?

Hi, there are online survey sites where you can do surveys of varying lengths for cash or vouchers, try onepoll, valued opinions, lightspeed.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0

Hi,
Well done everyone keep up the good work. :T
I've done not too bad this week, got £65 cashback from renewing my home contents insurance and 40p(wow) from doing a survey. Got a couple of old golf clubs and some books to stick on ebay this weekend and I'm due an upgrade on my mobile next week so I'm planning on selling the old handset.
One problem I see though is that the golf clubs and books are all that I really have to sell, so when/if I sell them I've got nothing else to put on ebay so I'll need to get my thinking cap on.
