i'm gonna try and make as much as i can off of ebay (could do with some serious decluttering). also, hopefully might start earning a bit of dosh from my photography.

just wondering if budget savings count, as i'm cutting back a lot and finally being a bit more of a savvy shopper???

i hope so, cause i've got a very active toddler who's not gonna allow me to fill out surveys etc.

Hi guys, can I join? :) I am so glad I stumbled across this, its just what I need to keep me motivated and focused.

I am currently on maternity leave, and now getting half pay, my incomings just about cover my outgoings, so the money I save will go on living expenses and to my savings pot so I can have the full 12 months off work ( my wages will stop altogether in March)

I sell on ebay already, and have tons of clutter to list, I am also planning on making the most of the car boot season when they start back up again, I also registered for retail eyes ages ago, but have never heard from them, so I will chase that up and look into other companies.

Would it possible to have a copy of the spread sheet please? I am not technical in the slightest and seem to have tons of lists everywhere! Thanks x

Right, seeing as I am 5 days behind already, I better get started!

Hi guys, i've been away from MSE for quite a while, and want to go for this! Got loads of stuff I want to sell as decluttering my life, and will get back in surveys etc etc, so any tips appriciated! I've noticed i'm nearly at £10 on Topcashback, now going to go through old survey sites and see where I am, even opened a new savings account for my 2012 challenge!

Also got new sets of undies for £8. Not sure how much to put down as saved on these.... original retail value comes in at £56, but I would never of paid that much.... then again £8 was a real bargain, I would of expected to pay £13 more than I did... What do people think I should put down?

oooooh, good bargain, and good question! im sure we'll all come across similar situations. hmmmm, dya know, im not sure! im counting supermarket offers i wouldnt normally buy at full price, but they are things i would normally buy. did that make sense?! its like if i get some shoes at half price, that id never have paid full price for isnt it? maybe you can look at what you would pay on average for the same, and use that as the starting price? then again, i dont think it would be wrong to use the £56 as a starting price for the savings. maybe split the difference?
