  • morning all, so I did my first mstery shop and failed lol. I read through the instructions 3 times and still missed the part where you cant use a voucher to part pay... oops. Oh well I know for next time :)

Im still waiting for payment on my books, and have to send my old mobile off. On a good note I have about £13 in cashback ready to be paid and am doing well on some survey sites.

Im also goingt o try listing a few bits on ebay this weekend to see if they sell, as its free listing I wont lose anything.

    Have a good weekend :)

Finally will be getting off the mark as i have my first two mystery shops booked in for today :), haven't done any for ages so i'm kind of nervous.

I thought i would record the money i earn on my spreadsheet and then change the colour to red when its been paid to me and i put it into the savings account :)

I will have to try out these book sites as well

Sadly I can't afford to put all the money I save into one account, as much as I wish I could, so it will all be put into my student account to reduce my overdraft, and any vouchers will be used to pay for presents or treats for myself.

Had a train journey on thursday, took my own tea and water, costing my 60p instead of the £4.20 it would of cost on the train :) - £3.60 saving
I took the bus from the station instead of a taxi - £4 saving
Must of saved a lot on the shopping, but not counting this. Although did have a £4 tillsplit that I used.

Also been doing more surveys, free bingo and competitions, not won anything yet, but fingers crossed.

so another £11.60 to add to the total :)
Thanks to everyone who posts competitions

Not much to report. Found £5 in an old bank account and £7.50 credit on a credit card so have moved these to my saving pot.

Found an indoor car boot sale locally so going to give this a go in a few weeks time. Laid low with a bad back at the minute so can't get into the loft to have a
    sort out.

  • Saved £6.73 on my weekly shop yesterday by going to Asda and taking advantage of their 50p offer items and going to Morrisons and buying their own brand saver items :D

I've put this money I would have spent in to the pot I have set up.

Huge thanks to everyone who takes the time and effort to post all the comps! :T

£11.32 from musicmagpie arrived this morning, I'll add when it's in the bank.

Work this afternoon, not main job so will count this income when paid.
Got a few things to eBay tomorrow, so not going too bad at minute.

Keep up the good work everyone.

    Hi Everyone,

How does everybody record cashback? do you record it when you move it to your bank account or when you get it on the cashback site?

  • I record cashback once it has cleared and I'm able to transfer it to my bank account.
Still nothing else to add for me... listing lots on ebay this weekend, so fingercrossed that boosts my total.

I dont tend to add anything until it hits my bank account and the money is there for me to see as mine because Ive had a fair few who mess about a bit taking bits of here or there for something i have missed so now I wait till its in my funds for me to see as mine :rotfl: hope this helps :)
