  • I made £35.86 from ebay sales that finished last night and have another couple of things that are finishing over the next 2 days which are at £18.97 at the moment. Does anyone know how you can work out the final fees etc with ebay as I want to take that off my "profit" I have made before I record it.

final fees on ebay - login - click account - click fees
  • Another ebay sale - should be £8ish once p&p and fees are paid.
Some ebay items ending tonight, too... all 99p-ers but it adds up.

RE: baby items, have you tried Hotukdeals selling forums? Lots of people sell baby stuff on there.

    Hi guys.

I have not set a target for this but am generally trying my best. Towards the end of last year I sold a lot of old books (uni books mostly) on Amazon. Some of them however have been sitting on my listings for months and I was unable to shift them. Last week I found 2 sites called Zapper and WeBuyBooks. I managed to get a decent enough price for 7 books on WeBuyBooks (£21.84). No-where near full price, but better than nothing.

Zapper was much poorer generally offering 30p for paperback novels. I had some listed but then couldn't process it cos they pay out £15.00 minimum...I didn't have enough books for this unfortunately.

I've also joined 3 survey sites. I'm a bit sceptical about this as it appears very time consuming, but I'll see how it goes.

    Good luck everyone.

Well I got £10 from John Lewis and £15.72p refund from Littlewoods, so it feels like I have made a start!

Shower broke over Christmas, family member is a plumber and came out and fitted a brand new shower for us, however this wasn't the problem. An electrician had quoted us £100 for the job to be fixed, another one then quoted £30. My cousin recommended a friend, who came out, fixed the problem with the trip switch and wiring and only charged us £20. Im counting that extra £10 saved in my totals, so I am now running at £117.74 :)

That's 5.85% of the way, and we are only 8 days in. I make it that i should only be 2.19% against target, working on target / days in year :D:D

I'm trying to make use of the free eBay listings this weekend and failing miserably. eBay keeps bringing up a message that my buyer reimbursement process needs updating.

Follow it through and it won't let me do anything! It started off giving an email address that was removed 5 years ago! And now that its finally caught up it would let me amend the CC details and I don't really want to be adding in any other cards as I use Paypal for everything eBay related.

So frustrating and a very clear message will be sent to eBay as I was listing fine last night and this morning. What is the point of having the free listing weekends if you can't use them.

    What your free listing limit?

After going on chat with an advisor I'm now back listing. Had a load of things end tonight as well and very happy with the outcome! One week in and I've already made £119.11!

Loads more to list and so little time! Must get the items on that I want a greater starting price on now before it's too late

Managed to work through the boredom and get 9 items listed on ebay today, it's sooooo tedious!! Good news one item has a bid and watchers on 3 others. Got loads of other stuff to list but it's mainly 99p start bits so i'll do those another day.

Also got an Amazon payment due soon for about £2, wohoo going to be at £2012 in no time!

Good luck to all those still listing on ebay.
