A great start for me today as one of the items I listed on ebay last night has a bid on it. As it was free listings I set the starting price at the price I would ideally like for it (as it didn't cost me if it didn't sell), so I'm really pleased someone's bid. Saying that, I'll be quite sad to see it go, but needs must.

OMG you lot have got me sooooo obsessed, I want to make money, I yearn to make money :rotfl: I am driving everyone mad with my money saving and putting things back because I want them but dont NEED them, although you never know what is around the corner, cannot believe I have got to today with money still in the bank and and cupboards and freezer full of food :money:

Was proactive and sent off the Child Benefit forms off this morning so hopefully should get the three months backdated and then a payment every 4 weeks which is all extra income.

Ebay items up to £22.00 not much but every time helps!! Going to list some more items tonight as have 40 listed so another 60 for the month :T

Just did a quick calculation out of interest to see how much money we need to average on a weekly basis to reach our target by 2013, and it's just under £39 a week. (£38.69 to be exact) Daily, bearing in mind we have 366 days this year as it's a leapyear, it works out at £5.50 a day, so we should've all made £49.50 by the end of the day today if counting from January 1st. :eek:Hope we all make it. Lots of people have got a good headstart already.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

I've just made £50 selling something on Gumtree, so very pleased with that. :) I'm babysitting on Wednesday and Thursday this week too, so hopefully by the end of the week I may have hit the £100 mark.

Just arrived home to a free voucher for a week bus pass from First after complaining about their service just before Christmas, a massive £19.50 saving to start me off! Will be decluttering and eBaying/selling books as the month goes on. Not right now though, I've just driven back from Swansea and I'm shattered!

Can I join too please? :j

I am going home to nz with my boyfriend for Christmas and every extra bit will help. Particularly with a mortgage on an earthquake damaged house to pay at the same time:(

    Thanks
