Does Anyone Know Anything About Theese No Win No Fee Firms Are They Any Good ?0

Woke up with a phone call from BBRB saying because of the court case they can now reclaim charges from banks etc. etc.
The catch is they charge you £49.99 for a claims pack. If the charges to your account is under that fee then you don't have to pay it but if it is then you do!
I'm now worrying as I only have £10 in my account for now and trying to ring 'em back to stop it.
Anyone else had a phone call from them?0 -

You don't need to use them so don't.0 -
Too late they've already taken 50 pounds out of my account within seconds
This means I will get charged 20 pounds a day for being overdrawn by the halifax and a 30 quid one off charge!
I'm fuming!0 -

I'm fuming!
Who are you fuming with? This really is self inflicted charges, and nor even unauthorised borrowing for an essential.0 -
I'm fuming because the guy on the phone from BBRB did NOT say that there admin charge will be taken out straight away. He said "you may get a charge if we proceed but we'll send you the documents to have a look at" which is WHY I agreed. Otherwise I'd tell them I can't afford it!
I'm gonna have to through with it now anyway.0 -
Not necessarily. Do you have to sign an agreement? If so, when it comes in, disagree with the terms and say you are not prepared to contract with them.0

Is it any different to me buying anything by phone? I would give the company I was purchasing from my bank details , including security number, to enable them to process things and take their money.0 -
