eagle wrote:Good question. I can find the link if I search Google, but I can only get up to the bit where it asks for my bank details. Having entered those it says I have entered an invalid account number or sort code (how does it know that???) and will not let me continue.
Any ideas guys?
Are you typing in the hyphens in the sort code? If I remember correclty, it just wanted the 6 digits like this: 010203. Also there is a bank sort-code lookup service available so they can check that it actually exists.

Hi David.
Yep, I've checked and double chekced that and I am definitely not doing so. My account number and sort code are both correct.
It sounds very dodgy to me...0 -
Are you trying to BT from your current account from a page that is intended for CC transfers only? IIRC there is a slightly different way to BT an overdraft.God save the King!

I can't see where on the site it is still offering the 1% deal. I see that they've just updated the Platinum card offer as well to include "Identity Theft Solutions"...whatever that might be.
My cashback has gone through as a rolling total and I'm assuming it'll just be applied back to the account annually. There's certainly no credit back onto it at the moment.
So far, no complaints!

I tried 2 different sort codes and they didn't work, when it asks you for the sort code don't put anything in and you'll get through to the next page.0

The navigation from the main citibank website....
http://www.citibank.co.uk/uk/
Click on 'Credit cards' which points to http://www.citibank.co.uk/uk/bankingproducts/creditcards/index.jsp
Click on 'Citi Platinum Visa card' which is below the picture of the diver (not the other link next to it as this won't offer your the cashback product!), this points to https://www.citicards.co.uk/platinumbridge.htm
On this page you'll find the 1% product.
Citibank has confirmed this is available to everyone. There are no plans to end it at the moment.Could you do with a Money Makeover?

Just got my terms to sign and there is indeed no mention of cashback. Just phoned them and they told me that if I applied for a cashback card then I will definetly get one.
It doesn't exactly inspire me with confidence that they have no mention of cashback in their terms, and their website has the cashback hidden away.0 -

My (bitter) experience is that don't trust anything they said during evening/weekends. You need to get a CS rep to confirm that with the underwriting department during work hours. As a matter of fact, even doing this did not work in my case either: they did have that confirmed (and I even put that down with the rep's name on my agreement before sending it back) but now they are saying that my card is not cardback, and they cannot do anything about it even though they might have made a mistake or give wrong advice, as the 1% cashback promotion is closed.Mark Hughes' blue and white army0
