What has been people's experience with the Conran card?

ThanksIf it was easy, everyone would do it!0 -

Can you not phone them directly - the offer appears to be on an open basis now?

Anyone know if the 1% cashback offer is still available to new signups ??
I know the old link is still there, but it has been removed from their main site now ?
Thanks

It's still on the main site, the exact navigation is below or you can go straight to https://www.citicards.co.uk/platinumbridge.htm (as posted by previous posters):
The navigation from the main citibank website....
http://www.citibank.co.uk/uk/
Click on 'Credit cards' which points to http://www.citibank.co.uk/uk/bankingproducts/creditcards/index.jsp
Click on 'Citi Platinum Visa card' which is below the picture of the diver (not the other link next to it as this won't offer your the cashback product!), this points to https://www.citicards.co.uk/platinumbridge.htm
On this page you'll find the 1% product.0 -
Is this a catch????
On their terms for this card under Interest charging information it says?
The periods over which interest are charged are as follows:
From Until
Purchases transaction date repaid in full*
So this means that as soon as you've made a purchase interest will start to acrue on that transaction!!!
Or am I misunderstanding it????

I think that's the case with most cards, unless you pay the total amount in full by the due date. As with this card:
4.4 Purchases
(a) Interest will be charged to Your Account if the full Balance (including previous and pending interest) is not paid by the Payment Due Date.
(b) If full payment is not made, interest will be charged on the full amount on a daily basis from the date of each Transaction until such time as full payment (including previous and pending interest) is credited to Your Account.

Thanks,
I've looked more closely and it does say;
Interest free period
Up to 56 days for purchases if you pay your balance in full and on time. 0 days for cash advances, credit card cheques and balance transfers.0 -

I actually was there today. I got the forms. The address problem is solved now.
However something is quite weird. They ask for an US Social Security number, if applicable. What the heck is that? We are here on British soil, even the Bank is American shouldn't matter.
I have a US SSnr. But I feel uncomfortable with this big bother is tracking you thing. At least the European ID cards say exactly what it contains. The US SSnr is just a number you get from government without actually seeing what type of information about you is recorded there. I wish there was a possibility to see what is recorded under my number.

I got my statement - all appears to be correct. I managed to spend £320, and here's the wierd part. The cashback seems to be applied monthly, so I've got a credit of £3.20 immediately after the statement date. Now I know that this is perfectly acceptable and that it will all add up to the same amount, but it doesn't somehow feel the same. Morgan Stanley send me a cheque once a year, which makes it seem like real money. Getting a few pounds discount every month doesn't have the same feel.
I suppose I could put it into a money box each month.
