Right then.
First of all I am a Welsh man married to an English woman phoning to argue with Welsh women - all very confusing!
Dates:
End May: complaint
End Aug: letter upholding complait and asking me to agree without any calcs (!)
Early Sept: calculation letter saying no need to respond
Early Nov: re-calc saying no need to respond
Last Wed: under half paid in by BACS (from earlier closed loans appaerently)
Midnight last night: remaining £6K in by BACS
Plus many many frustrating calls to the welshies in between!!
I'm not sure all our interventions with calls and MPs and emails make much difference TBH. Easy for me to say now though eh?!
Also, my live and connected loan account says I am £4K in credit now - maybe they haven't finished that yet..?!
Tax to pay.
Finally, LTSB have huge [tax] gain from writing down losses against payouts and then keeping the payouts back as long as possible... I mean really, why send three letters and then pay the loans team my money and then, eventually, I get the money in two stages?! Then in between, all the extra overdraft charges, credit card interest, other loan interest, etc, keep on rolling in. I mean, COME ON!!??0 -
Jon.e.boy - I'm giving up calling them now, if I want to hear Welsh people lie to me I'm just going to call the OH up and listen to him tell me he's only going to the pub for one =pDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

In fact, listening to myself there, I might apply for a job with LTSB, I hear they have some capacity issues!0 -

What makes you want to post such provocative garbage at nearly 2am? Apart from being drunk is it:
1. Being annoyed at being kicked out of a nightclub for stalking?
2. Being dumped by your partner?
3. Somehow catching a glimpse of your face in a mirror? OR
4. Are you just finishing your shift at the Lloyds TSB complaints call centre?
Either way you are a bit pathetic. So 2 words....DO ONE!
Off to work now by the way....0 -
