LloydsTSB PPI Payment

I phoned today and complained about the wall of mis-information and lies that was being peddled by LTSB. I was told that my case had to be looked into by a manager who would phone me back. I explained that it was beyond a joke when I was still paying over £150 per month on PPI premiums 4 months after my complaint was upheld. The response was that it was OK as I would be paid these back!
What on earth these people are on it beyond me. If I dipped into their bank accounts and took a few hundred quid and told them not to worry because I would give them it back at some unspecified time in the future they would rightly his the roof.
And guess what? No call back.

Hi. Just phoned Lying Total Scum Bags, and was told that payment by BACS only go into bank A/C's within the hours of 12 Midnight to 04:00 AM Mon-Fri, so don't bother checking on Sat/Sun. This is different to what I had been told previously by some other moronic robot! My original letter was dated 02/Aug, so I reckon I've been waiting the longest and it is now p***ing me right off! Lloyds are a total joke!
Maybe it takes time for the credits to show on the online banking?0 -
Just had my restructured letter, doesn't say when I will get paid and only has interest calculated up until the 15th November, completely unacceptable as still no money and it's no longer the 15th November. It reads exactly the same as my previous letter but with Andreas name on the bottom and an additional £29.68 which I've told my Dad he can have towards Christmas dinner if I get the money before then.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

I have decided that I am going to write a letter to the ombudsman, multiply it a few times and some quotes from here if you peeps don't mind, as the deadline originally given to lloyds was 16 weeks, this has clearly been over stepped but yet even the ombudsman has done nothing, I emailed them 4-5 weeks ago and have heard nothing, so I thought I might bombard them see if that works. Personally after a discussion with the parents they both said that lloyds are hoping we get sick of asking for our money back that we give up so they don't have to pay out!!! I know someone who works in a ltsb call centre and asked them if they knew what was happening and they said they wish they did, they get no info what so ever in phonebanking they only have access to the tel number to give the customers0

Did you get any notice in your phone calls that payment was coming or did it just turn up in your account?0

I think what might happen is they move them from one spreadsheet to another, then to the "payout" team who actually issue the refunds. It all seems @rse about face though. I also think that 10 days is 10 working days, so you're looking at Tuesday next week or Wednesday.
When I worked for an insurance company we told people 10 working days for refunds because of the paperwork. It goes from one team, to another, to another. The people on the end of the phone just push it through to another dept.
Whilst it is frustrating, I think we will all get our money, but we sure as hell will be closing our accounts after the way we've been treated.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Daily call...... Spoke to "Martin" who is possibly the only honest person I have spoken to.... Instead of telling me the usual massive pile of steaming **ap he simply and honestly said I would get paid at a random time direct to my account by BACS.
He did also mention it MIGHT go in before Christmas and even if he had access to the payment spreadsheet he couldn't estimate a timescale as it doesn't appear to be paid in any order at all......
On the plus side it's Sunday tomorrow and since the department is closed I get a lie in and save the expense of another phone call...... I will miss the welsh accented mind, but the outlaws are visiting so I could ask the father in law to chatter away at me for ten minutes, his accent is so strong he wouldn't even need to be lying to me as I can't understand a word he says anyway.... Have a nice weekend all!0 -

I am in the same position, interest calculated until 12th December so hopefully we should receive cheques before those dates, if not they have to add further interest until the cheque is sent. One would hope that that doesn't happen as it can hold things up for longer. Fingers crossed for both of usSuccesses
