LloydsTSB PPI Payment

  • Has anybody had their payment but still not had their loan restructured?

I was a lucky 9th November recipient of my refund, but my loan is still running with the same balance and monthly repayment.

The PPI had been cancelled long ago but my offer letter did say that they still had to apply some changes to my loan (and this would happen in the next 21 days from 8 September - Oh how I laughed).

There has been no change in the loan and I can't be bothered to ring them as I'm unlikely to get a straight answer, does anyone have any experience of this?

  • Are there any people still waiting for payment, who's offer letter is dated before 1st of September or before?

If so have you had a restructured letter?

I've had nothing, I've tried everything, I think I may just write it off lol.

  • Claim made in April - 32 weeks ago
    Claim upheld letter 22nd August
Offer letter 8th September - interest calculation until 6th October
    Still no recalculation offer
    Still no payment.

I make that 52 working days and counting! Been calling them every 2-3 weeks but like everyone else am completely getting the run around. Have given up calling now, does no good whatsoever except runs you a huge phone bill. Hope it comes soon, it seems there is no rhyme nor reason to how and when they pay out or even when they send letters. One thing for certain like a large number of people on this forum I won't be leaving any money in my LTSB account!
  • Made the daily phone call to check my balance, now the waiting game for my postie to finish picking his nose and drinking his coffee down the end of the road before he pushes a bundle of bills through the door which I am confident will not also contain any form of communication from Lloyds.... It seems to me that if they aren't sending us letters or processing our payments, then what ARE they ACTUALLY doing up there??!! I have visions that it must be something between the chimps tea party and a scene from "the office"..... But without any real humour!.....anyway, I have my daily call to the call centre to look forward to, I missed them yesterday so I will be suggesting they open on Sunday's as well as 24 hours off leaves me without that warm fuzzy feeling I so crave......

Getting so p****d off waiting for my repayment,i`ve sent some e-mails of complaint using useful adresses post by members on this site.

    Ref.ppi claim 384235

it is now nearly 7 months since my application for the refund of ppi payments was recieved by lloyds tsb, over 6 months since the arrival of your confirmation letter quoting the many loans involved and 2 months since i recieved the calculations of the monies owed to me. We are now 25 weeks on from my claim confirmation date when i was assured my claim would be refunded in 16 weeks. I have called the ppi help line, where i was promised time scales if"i could call back next week" fobbed off and lied to constantly. I have recieved no text messages from your mobile phone claim tracking service either. As a friend of mine, who put forward her claim when i did, found her refund deposited into her account over a week ago [she`d been told cheque] could you apply the same method of payment for my claim as this will no doubt speed things up and remove any risk of a cheque getting " lost in the post" thank you,in advance for your help in resolving this matter, speedily.

As I have said to other users a few times now - good email, enjoy the benefit of getting the anger off your chest and we all know how you feel.

However, you won't get a response to your email. You might get an automated acknowledgement but never a response. Nobody is looking at these messages, Lloyds don't care.

I will say that you should have been paid by now the timescales you mention are awful and I advise you contact the FSA (a toothless tiger as they are) as it is their responsibility to see that Lloyds adhere to what they call the DISP rules.

Email the FSA stating you feel Lloyds are flouting the DISP rules, say you feel they are breaching the terms of the FSMA and you expect the FSA to investigate their gross misconduct.

That's what I did and magically the day after the FSA acknowledged my message to them I got paid by Lloyds.

    Go for it!

    No money (promised mid September)
I've had nothing, I've tried everything, I'm NOT writing off £6.5K!!!!!

Hi Bruce, Can you tell me what the FSA email address is please? I think I've emailed them before but was ignored, so might be worth trying again.
