Stu, I hope you're not holding your breath :rotfl:
I did message MSE Guy who ran the original Lloyds PPI story saying it was nearly a month Lloyds apologised for the delays and said they were sorting it - and guess what? Lots of people still not paid. He said he would look into it.
Everyone; message MSE Guy with your Lloyds horror stories! I know they're busy people but we really need to get this issue out there again0 -
Hi looking for some help please. I put in a PPI complaint against LLoyds TSB back in March 2011. I received my letter from them on the 27th July 2011 with my refund of premiums figure and was told I would have the money in the next 28 days. 17 weeks letter and I am still waiting for my money and never get a decent answer from LLoyds TSB as to when I will see it. The last person I spoke to last week told me I should see it before Xmas if not some time next year ( thanks that's helpful:mad::mad::mad::mad: ).
Does anyone have any ideas what I can do next or been through this as well. All help appreciated
Ash, the short answer is "not really"!! We are all getting the same response to calls and emails, some have said that emailing your MP and explaining the financial hardship may encourage them to make contact on your behalf which may, or may not, speed it up. The only good thing to take from this forum is that you are not alone! Keep checking back and now and then there will be a gem of a tip you can try. Although I personally claimed jut after you, there are others on here who have been waiting even longer. There is no rhyme or reason to the way Lloyds are processing claims, some people I know have made their initial complaint and been paid out within a six week period, others have been waiting almost twelve months.
Keep the faith, the money will eventually arrive and in the meantime keep complaining about the delay!0 -

Am I the only one who feels that the issue Lloyds encountered was that they lost data? If this is what happened then it would explain why nobody seems to be refunded in date order. If they have lost data, perhaps they are having to go back to the very beginning of all of our claims and rework out how much they are to refund us.0

That actually hurts :-( I'm not trying to be greedy but I really do think that Lloyds should be made to pay for their errors and lies. They are incapable of telling the truth so if a few extra pounds in my account is going to make me feel better then so be it. I'm in the same boat as everyone on here waiting on a lot of money that belongs to me and my husband that is currently sitting in Lloyds account instead of ours and like everyone on here - anger and frustration doesn't even cover how we feel, so sorry if I came across as sounding greedy but I just want to put a point across to them. They can't treat people like this - other banks aren't doing it.0

Okay so I've phoned a few times since my offer letter on Oct 4th. What struck me this time was that I have been told that because I have now phoned, and they have seen that I was sent an offer letter between August and Oct 21st they will now put me on the spreadsheet for the recalculation offer letter.
Wierd because I had been told I would get this previously and did not, then I was told I would not get this, and now I've been put on a spreadsheet. Apparently that letter speeds things up ... it is all very very very pointless.
What would have happened if I did not get on the spreadsheet?0 -
I have been on the phone yet again to the Bank of Bull*&£t and been told " oh havent you received anything". What gets me is the lies are so dis-jointed, "oh yes the recalculation letter has been sent to you, i can see it on the screen in front of me, call back a week later because there is no letter and guess what? "oh sorry sir, you shouldnt have been told that". I have had the pleasure (you can imagine the sarcasim) of speaking to the chief Liar Andrea, who assured me she would escalate my complaint and I would receive a call back from the payments team, I am now on the 2nd week!! I have wrote to my MP, Mr Hallett, FOS and I have no reply to any of them. None of the emails were malicous, but hey who are we. I even spoke to the mighty Scum Newspaper ( The Nations Favourite) and some snot nose reporter who i told my tale of woe to, said " aint we all waiting mate, ring us back in a year if you aint got anything" and promptly put the phone down. I feel so let down by all around me, i genunely am struggling financially. I have stated this, but all i get told is people are looking into this. I have lost my job today but this wont matter to them. They have lost a loyal customer of over 15yrs and i wont be back. I wonder if they monitor this site ? i wonder if martin Lewis does or he just trying to find money off vouchers for wines and cheap flights. none of these people care they are just toothless tigers, who roar but cant bite.:(0

I have been told several times that I would be receiving recalculation letters and would be put on a spreadsheet, but to date nothing I haven't heard anything. I was told the other day that my calling them every week was considered excessive and it is people like me who are causing the backlog.0

If you owed them this much money they wouldnt only phonee on the hour every hour they would also send round the Baliffs to clear your house out and take the car off your drive. I once missed my Credit card payment (i cant remember Why) and when I looked at my bank account LTSB had actually been in and taken the payment from it. They can do what they want we are powerless in this PPI thing:mad:0
