Hey,
I DO NOT wish to anger or boast but i have just checked my account and the remaining amount from my loan restructure is there.
So..
Calm put in 6th May
Calc letter received : 8th Sept
Half Money received : 9th November
Re calc letter received : 9th November (dated 3rd November)
Loan Restructure : 14th November
Still waiting on the further monies :17th November (bacs paid by LoansDirect) - This is who took my loan amount every month.
Im still not 100% on the restructure as a massive chunk has been taken of and i have hardly any left to pay.0 -
is yours going to loan department because of ppi on your current loan ??
Its 'the system'!!!!!
I cancelled the current loan PPI 6 months ago. Appreciate b/f rollover balance from another loan had ppi so expect that to be removed and future loan payments reduced BUT as I keep telling them, they can take another 3 months if they like to sort out the future payments, just give me my £17000 NOW:mad::mad::mad:
If it wasnt so awful it would be funny. Told me extra £80 interest for the extra months delay, lovely - the credit cards hav charged me £400 interest in that time!!!0 -
Well done y2dom. Nice to see that some people are making progress.0

daily call;
Very rude lady for a start. Apparently the PPI team have 7-10 working days to investigate why the recalc letter hasn't been sent. Which has gone up from two days ago when it was 5-10 days!
Yesterday we were told "money any day now" - this has now changed to "we can't give ANY timescales at all".
And get this; despite being told ALL letters had been sent over three weeks ago (and hence why the "team" are investigating where ours is) apparently NOT all the letters have been sent! And they're being sent in batches! So complete and total lies up to now?! "Oh all letters have been sent, give it 10 working days and ring us back" - total !!!!!.
Total, total disgrace.0 -

Hmm interesting, i have the same dates as you for part payment and loan restructure, but i haven't yet had the rest of the money by BACS, i assume that will also land in my Lloyds TSB account? I would phone them and ask what's going on, but seriously, what is the point!
Hopefully i will see the rest of the money by the end of the week.
Good luck to you all, still can't quite believe that no-one (including MSE) has made this more public, the way we have all been treated is an absolute disgrace.

We had the same dates for original calc letter, part payment (interest) and recalc letter and have just checked bank and the remainder of the money is finally in our bank account!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Loan hasn't been fully restructured yet but we are delighted to finally have the money back.:j0 -
Hi
I made a claim for both PPI and Life Insurance refund to Lloyds on the 4th July 2011 and received a letter back from them on 8th July 2011 questioning what I was claiming for, my reply was to confirm that I wanted both PPI and Life insurance as they had both been sold to me in exactly the same manner (ie have to have both to get the mortgage).
Since then I have received no further communication (19 weeks now), no calculation letters, no offers, nothing!
I have called and been told a decision was made to make me an offer on the 24th October 2011 but there a no figures available.
Is anyone else in the same position?
Thanks

You'd think with over 1000 posts it would have got some publicity by now.
Prophet of doom - I think they had 8 weeks in which to respond with calculations if I'm right, but I can't remember.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Congrats to those that have found some money has finally arrived!
Not wanting to sound like the big brother house but.....
Working day 130 since lodging my complaint back in May..... 180 ACTUAL days.....
No sign of the ominous recalculation letter which has now taken approximately 13 days to apparently crawl its way through the second class postal system, no sign of any form of payment which has now taken 55 WORKING days to crawl it's way through the third rate customer dis-service system at Lloyds...
On the plus side a very nice man from the AA got my car started this morning so that cheered me up......
My MP sent a letter yesterday so I will see if that makes any impact, I am saving the daily phone call for after lunch as something to look forward to !0 -

Just keep pointing this out to them (in writing/email) it was the main thrust of my argument and I got paid on the Glorious 9th along with quite a large number of other disatisfied customers.
My credit card was with Lloyds so they knew I was not bluffing, maybe if you break it down to them and make it clear in no-uncertain terms that you will be making an additional claim for the lost interest it may push them along.
I also have a theory that the repayment date depends uppon the date you make your loan payment as they paid me on the 9th and stated it could take up to 21 working days to recalc my loan balance and ongoing payments meaning that they will get at least 1 more installment at the higher amount in December.
Plus their ongoing receipts wont take a hit until the new year which underpins the figures on their P&L and Balance Sheet for 2011.
Or maybe I am just seeing things that aren't really thereMoney Saving IQ 142 - Does that mean I am tight?0
