Similar story to me im just a day earlier on nearly all those dates. Weirdly my loan restructuring appears to have happened over the weekend, wasn't done by the end of friday, was by Sunday, weird!Hopefully we will see the rest of our money soon, can't see any possible excuse now for it now being in our accounts imminently, but this is Lloyds so who knows!!0

Congrats!! Looks like I have another 3 weeks or so at least to wait then since my acceptance letter was 30 Aug and actual offer including figures wasn't until 19 Oct!
Hi Stu talk,
These payments have been really random as you can see from other comments on here so I would definately keep pestering them. You may find it takes less than 3 weeks there is no order to the payments.:)0 -
Cheers namsie, a friend of mine called me this afternoon and said he had been paid, yet his complaint concerned a live loan and he only contacted Lloyds for the first time in June!! I phoned them AGAIN and queried this, all I got was totally the opposite information I was given Saturday! I was told on Sat despite what my letter said ad I have an active Lloyds account I would now get a BACS payment which was "imminent"..... Today I am told it will definitely be a cheque and I was "misinformed" on Saturday.... Followed by the usual apologies and further out right lies.......0

Hi
Had the usual 20 min wait on the phone today. I demanded to speak to a manager, even after being told they would not be able to help me. The " manager " started to talk about the mystical letter. I told him I hadn't recieved mine so he checked it out for me. The reason my letter never arrived is " we have sent it to the wrong postcode ".
Funny how everyother letter has managed to find its way to me.
He insisted the BACS should be with me before the letter is.
My Calc letter is dated 16th Sept.
He also said to check my account everyday. I don't think I will bother.0 -
Hi
Can anyone help, apart from the delay from Lloyds regarding payment. I have read you have to pay hrmc inland revenue 20% of the interest recieved ? is this true ? and how are we supposed to do this and why? when did compensation become extra income, and why has the banks not explained this on offer letter ?
can anyone help as I am sure it will be affecting a lot of us.
It is not compensation. The total refund is supposed to put you back in the position you would have been in if you have not paid your PPI - the assumption being that you would have put it in a savings account earning 8%. If you had put it in a savings account earning 8%, you would have paid tax on that 8%, therefore tax is also due on the 8% that the refund gives you.
You can pay it either by phoning HMRC and letting them adjust your tax code, or paying it to them immediately, or wait till the end of the yax year & fill in a tax return.[STRIKE]DFW Nerd number 729[/STRIKE]Debt Free & Proud0 -
127 working days (25 wks) since initial complaint,
120 working days (24 wks) since acknowledgement,
55 working days (11wks) since offer of refund,
21 working days (4 wks) since amounts disclosed.
Daily call to Lloyds....... Same old story......
Does anybody in your office know anything useful at all?
"in regards to your claim and when it will be paid, I am afraid I can't help you"
Since ALL of these loans are completed why do you need so long? There is nothing to work out or adjust, it's a simple repayment surely?
"there is a queuing system"
Really? How is that working then?
"I am not sure, possibly by date order"
We all know that ain't the truth!!
Oh well, marathon waiting time in the queue to be spoken to on Wednesday when we will all, no doubt, be trying to get through.... Again...
Hi
Well I can beat you by another two weeks, and I have not had the revised offer letter promised a fortnight ago !!!!:mad::mad::mad:0 -

I was told by LTSB that this is the date where everyone should have received their letters by. He said that they were all sent out on Friday 4th November and that this is 10 working days (including Saturdays) from that date.
They didn't bat an eyelid when I queried why second class post takes 10 days to deliver, stating in a monosyllabic drawl that those were the figures they were given from above.
Utter bo***x I would guess.0 -

Most call centres have outsourced print places, so it takes a few days from printing to postman. If you think about your car insurance renewal it's the same, up to 10 days to receive the letter.
Although apparently my letter from liars anonymous isn't even showing on the system as being printed. BrilliantSPC = £15.54 #1413

The letters get authorised on the computer, then printed in a print room somewhere, these then get shoved into envelopes, then they get sent out. The only way a second class gets sent like a second class is if the handler physically does the whole process themselves (so print from pc to printer shove in envelope post).

Oh well, my faith in human nature is restored just that little bit and my cynical view of the world is that bit reduced.
I still think LTSB are utter b****x though...0 -
I am awaiting a refund re an old loan and an old credit card. Offer letters date 18th and the 21st October. Rang today (1st contact with Lloyds as getting a bit twitchy with Christmas just around the corner)...
They said that I should receive at least the CC refund by the end of the week as they are being processed quicker than the loans - perhaps due to the restructuring of the loans?
Anyway, I am sure that I will be posting again this time next week to say nothing received. Cynical? Moi??0
