I got half of my money last week, phoned yesterday and found out that another amount was getting paid into bank today and a smaller amount was getting sent to loan department, for them to restructure loan and then I would get this amount back within 10 working days apparently.
Still no sign of loan being restructured though, but happy enough that I have finally got bulk of my payment. Had to fight yesterday for additional interest though, as been waiting so long now for payment, my interest was only calculated until 24th August....according to the monkey I spoke to yesterday that was their final offer and I would not get a penny more!!!!!! Demanded to speak to an organ grinder who still claimed I was not entitled to any extra interest for the 3 months I have been waiting for payment, after a hell of a lot of arguing, he issuing a cheque for the sum of £90 for the additional interest.......finally light at the end of the tunnel and I am that bit closer to being able to clear my loan and close my accounts with useless and rude lloyds and be debt free for the first time in 7 years!!!!!! :-)

Can money go into accounts via BACS anytime of the day or does it happen only at midnight?

They only go in at midnight. If it were a CHAPS payment then it could go in at any time of the day as it is an 'immediate' payment.

I got my offer letter on Sept 7th with interest up until 5th Oct, still no new letter as promised this week and still no money! I have been emailing Miss Barry but my e-mails have been bouncing back, has anyone got a email address that is working?? Thanks CY
