My letter was dated 16th August. No refund yet, but got my revised offer letter today. When I called them they said they'd use some of the money against my current loan. But this would only be a small amount? How do they work this out? My current loan got restructured last month. Confused!!

Received new calculation letter today. Quick call to find out when cheque would be received, should be within 7 days of receiving the letter. Their words "they have now caught up!" Here's hoping!!

    Great! good luck.

Is your refund to be paid by BACS or by cheque?

I have not been keeping up on this as I should be considering I have cases with them lol, but these revised offers, is that because of the delay?

Sometimes they will change a final rejection decision, so you could write back with further information and tell them, at the end of the day they would not pay out when you tried making a claim, so this policy is worthless to you, and a waste of your money.

Tell them you do not agree and don't feel they have taken your reasons into account and have totally overlooked your case.

Give them 14 days and if you hear nothing or if they do not change the decision, then complain to the FOS.

    Good luck.;)

    thank you

will it matter that I recieved my response from lloyds back in august?

I think so Di, i believe if they have gone past the date the interest was calculated too then Lloyds have readjusted the redress to include extra interest i think :rotfl:

    Your welcome Chris.

Did they actually mention anything on the letter with a timescale to write back to them?

Maybe give it another shot, but also remember when a final decision's been issued, the bank should confirm this on the letter and enclose details of the FOS leaflet where you have 6 months to complain to the FOS as from the date of the letter.;)
