Has anyone actually received a cheque in settlement. Loan account closed and Lloyds TSB account closed.

well I have had part payment, loan still open, nothing happened to it since I got my money last Friday. Spoke to LLoyds, USELESS, as much use as a chocolate teapot, so spoke to my branch manager who is just as confused as amount paid is not what they said they were paying. He chasing it up for me, but told me to close my loan now as thats what I wanted to do all along. Owed round about £3K still. Still not got this promised recalculation letter, as my interest was calculated until 24th August!!!!
BUT......... have seen something from them lol, so just waiting on rest of payment then I will be waving goodbye to Lloyds!!!!!!:rotfl:
CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who has got their long awaited money though, and hopefully those still waiting, will get theirs soon x

No not yet, mine were paid off/closed in late 90's and waiting 2 cheque payments.;)

Cheers honey, I did receive an email yesterday after emailing them over a week or 2 ago, and was told they have checked but nothing sent out yet, they did confirm they will let me know by email when they will be issued.
(On my notes because of the terrible posting in my area) similar surrounding addresses and with other payouts received from them over the last year or 2, they kept a note on the file to email when refunds been issues, so I shall post up when I hear, cheers honey x;)
