  • right folks wait till you hear this.Just got off the phone with customer services girl tried to tell me usual s***e so i demanded tospeak to a manager. He the cameon the phone was very apologetic and said it was unacceptable the time it is taking for customers to get their money...now wait for it he then went on to tell me that lloyds are now sending unpaid claims to another company to deal with this company will be recalculating everybodies claims and everyone should receive a letter by this weekend to inform of the new situation... I said i dont want mine recalculating as this is just going to delay things even further but he assured me that this company are confident they can get this done quickly and everyone should then see their payments within 2/4 weeks after this weekend we dont have an option as this is whats happening.Iget pushing him as to whether this was a definate 2/4 weeks but he just kept saying yes that is what we are expecting but can not give definate answer, he also went onto say that anyone with a lloyds account would be receiving bacs transfer and not cheque as previously told, now does everyone think this is yet anothere load of b******t or is it just me.Perhaps if everyone else phones and demands to speak to managment and see if they get toldthe same we might actually get a better idea of what is actually happening. Please letme know if you get toldthe same
  • Really angry:
my branch manager is now chasing this for me due to length of time this is taking. He called them Friday and demanded an email be sent to payment team demanding a date I will receive payment, he said he will give them 2 working days to respond to him, then he will start badgering them on a daily basis for me until I get paid.
He will be calling tomorrow morning, unless I get paid before then....not holding my breath though, so I will post on here what response I get from him and see if he gets told this latest delaying tactic rubbish that you have.

OMG, what is the problem here? We are OWED this cash, so why can they not just PAY us???????

I phoned this morning and basically got told the same by the lady I spoke to, she said it was from an internal communication that they had received "ten minutes ago". Lets hope this fiasco is coming to an end but not holding my breath!
  • thanks for that i am really glad others are getting told the same so we will all get our money within 4 weeks eh.... that will be right.... does anyone seriously beleive these jokers anymore......anyone else out there been told the same? i really cant beleive that this new company is going to manage to get letters out to eberyone by this weekend with new calculations if they do i will eat my hat....definatly cutting all ties with lloyds tsb after this fiasco ....lloyds tsb with you for the journey.... i dont think so
  • Just spoke to my branch manager about this, he knows nothing about this, and when he called them, he was told nothing like this, just that payments have still not responded to his email, and there still no date for payment. He is going to 'badger' them daily for me now to get my payment to me ASAP.
Think he can see why we are getting so frustrated as he cannot see why payments cannot be made direct to us, and says 28 days is plenty time for them to do it in, whether there is 100 or 1000 claims!

I spoke to Lloyds at around 12pm today my calculation letter was dated 16th September with interest paid to 13th October I havent chased them before today. So I spoke to a woman who didnt take any details just wanted to know the date of my calc letter she was very cagey but said she would be very surpirsed if I hadnt received my payment within the next two weeks she mentioned they had been briefed this morning with new information but couldnt tell me what was happening I am quite tempted to ring back to see what story I get this time!
  • lulu bet if you phone back you will get a completly different story, as has everyone else on here every time they have phoned
  • Hi,

I spoke to LloydsTSB today at 16:00hrs (1st Nov). They told me that they are aware of the delays in payment and the following actions are being taken:

    1. This week letters will be sent to all claiments who have not received payment up until the 21st October.
    2. The letter will include a new interest calculation up to the end of October and an additional 4 weeks interest (to say sorry perhaps?)
    3. Payments will hopefully now be quicker and where claiments are exisitng LloydsTSB customers with active accounts the payment will be made directly via BACS.

The LloydsTSB rep on the phone said that they had just received this information this morning and had not yet seen any details of the new interest payment calculations. I would expect it to be pro-rated at 8% as per the original offer letters.

    END
  • and an additional 4 weeks interest (to say sorry perhaps?)

or are they adding this extra months interest as they know thats how long it is gonna take to pay out maybe?..........

My letter was dated the 22nd so roughly a week after yours..Ive phoned and phoned with no luck every time I try I get music played and after 45 mins of holding I dread to think what my phone bill is going to be. When I eventually got through I explained etc etc..the guy on the phone was extremely unhelpful and took no details and literally said "you will have to wait 8 weeks from the date of your letter" and put the phone down I was furious. Ive gone into my local branch, and they apologized but said it was out of their hands and they couldn't do anything about it ..
I know we are all in the same boat and people have been waiting longer than me, but you cant get a straight answer from anyone. I get more info coming on here everyday/night to find out whats going on.
