LloydsTSB PPI Payment
Comments

I called Lloyds this afternoon and the person I spoke to didn't want to discuss my individual case; I wasn't given the opportunity of giving my claim or loan number.
I was asked what the body of my offer letter and when I told her, I was told how I would be repaid as I currently have a loan.
I was told:-
- Nobody who claimed after me would be paid before me;
- They cannot tell anyone where they are on the list;
- They cannot give timescales (my offer letter was dated 22nd Sept and they could not say if I would receive anything by mid-November);
- They cannot say when loans are going to be restructured and monthly payments reduced;
- If my letter gave a 21 day timescale and I still had PPI taken out after that date, that would either be paid into my account or the payment taken off of my loan; and
- They are processing 1500 cheques each day.
I came away feeling very fed up; the woman I was speaking to was probably speaking from a script.0 -
I'm just wondering what the point of the ppi customer services department is. I called again today. My loan was restructured on the 18th October, which I thought/hoped would be a good sign. Called today. Apparently I'm in the final stages!!? But they cannot say when I'll get paid. I got my offer letter dated August 14th! That's 75 days ago. And I am still none the wiser when I'll get the money. This can't be right0

Thing is, I don't want a letter confirming acknowledgement of the issues that I've raised. I want a letter containing my bl**dy cheque! It will be interesting to see what crap these cowboys are going to fob us off with this time. :mad:
And I very muich doubt Horta will bother looking at any of our complaints personally. He's probably sunning himself somewhere without a care in the world while his customers are left tearing out what little hair they have left.:rotfl:

yes i agree i doubt any of them will be looked at, four years they missed off our credit card and they assured us it would go back to 2001 they only paid us till 2004 from 2008 . we will have to see if we get letters in 5 days but i doubt it0

Had a reply from Andrea after the 2nd email I sent.
Many thanks for your email and I am sorry for the delay in replying.
I can assure you that I will be looking into your complaint and I will be able to give you an update next week. I am sorry that this situation has occurred and would like to thank you for your patience whilst I investigate the issues you have raised. I would like to assure you that I take all complaints seriously and I am sorry for the delays and the lack of clarity you have had around your PPI complaint when you have called into our Call Centre.0 -
just to let you guys know anyone waiting on a decision on their lloyds case there are going to be a number of 'refinance upholds' going out where they offer the difference betweena pro rata and non pro rata rebate....this is not in line with fos redress so if you get this sort of offer refer it to fos0

^^^
Unless the loan has been paid off in full. In which case we should recieve the amount stated on the redress letter.2018 wins: Hong Kong holiday0 -
I may seem a bit thick but can anyone explain the comments on this thread above about pro rata and non pro rata........what does that all mean and would that effct people who had already been made an offer?0
