Anyway my story. Made claim in april last year, got reply may 26th acknowledging claim.
letter 24th june update on progress, responding within 16 weeks of complaint.
24th august thank you for patience give me an offer. accept.
27th oct amount i'll receive.
letter 24th nov referrring to letter (i never received from 7/11) another offer recalculating intertest.
receive part payment round about the time time of letter dated 24th nov.
since then nothing. despite numerous phonecallls, standard reply your claim has been escalated. said to them i know of people whove been paid and settled within weeks. nothing they can do they say. one woman even said why dont i not phone for a few weeks because it obviously gets me wound up phoning them. threatebned to leave lloyds, thats my perogative they say, but they wouldnt advise it has it could delay my payment. I say well whats a few more months going to do.
went into my bank said i want to move ok they say lets get the ball rollingh, i said don't you wann know why i want to move. not really they say.
i'm just hacked off with the whole damn thing and when i read about people on here being sorted within a few weeks it winds me up even more.
I sent my Claim in September 11, received the Offer Letter beginning of Dec 11, no refund as yet.
However, my son sent his Claim Jan 12 and was paid out on 22 Feb 12. Money in his account BEFORE he received his Offer Letter. It doesn't make sense.0 -

It does seem to be quiet at the moment with Lloyds. Maybe they are finally holding their hands up and writing all those well deserved cheques to people who are actually owed it back!
I was going to try and email them again, but taken some advice from Gringo on here and sending another letter! Recorded delivery of course! Emails and phone calls don't seem to get anywhere!

No suck luck. I'm still waiting, it's now over 7 weeks since I received my offer letter. Having rang Lloyds I have been informed that a recalculation letter was sent last Thurs although I still haven't received it. It just seems like delaying tactics to me. Week commencing 12th Feb I was told by Lloyds customer services that I should receive payment any day. What a joke!
The whole system is a farce. When I first received my acknowledgement letter back in Nov I also received 7 other letters addressed to other people with their personal information on. So much for data protection.
Everytime you speak to the people at Lloyds you receive conflicting information such as the payment will go into your account in the early hours someone else said it can go in at any time of the day.
You don't know what to believe, and it's driving me mad having to check my account every day only to be disappointed.
Crap really!0 -
Initial letter received August calulating repayment to end of October.
After Gringo's advice we threatened legal action one month ago.
We were paid three amounts one week ago directly into the bank a/c. Not one of the sums paid matched anything we were originally promised. They were for more ?!
This morning we have received a cheque for over 2 grand...
NOT ONE OF THESE PAYMENTS HAS HAD ANY EXPLANATION WITH IT!
How can a bank pay out over eight thousand pounds without appearing to account for it?
Credit cards paid off. Overdraft gone. New (to us) car arrived and sighs of relief (and incredulity) all round.0 -
lloyds tsb are a disgrace!!! started claim 22 sept 2011, got offer letter dated 9th dec, said i would receive payment within 21 days!!! still waiting!! i do have an oustanding loan but lloyds owe me more than my oustanding loan amount. got my mp to write to them in january, still no reply!! i have taken advice from this site and wrote numerous letters and emails, received a computer generated email back yesterday, still cant tell me when i will be paid!!!
anyway decided i dont think i should have to carry on paying my loan when they should of paid it off by now, so wrote to my local branch manager yesterday giving him a months notice that i was cancelling my loan repayments due to the fact that they havent paid me so im not paying them!!!
i have also made an appointment with him for monday to also talk about this in person as it was the local branch that i took my loan out originally, i will post again when i know the outcome of the meeting on monday. cancelled the loan repayments today!!! im sure i will hear something from lloyds very soon!!!
good luck to everyone else!!!0 -

I sent an email nearly 3 weeks ago to [Name removed by MSE Forum Team], they advised I would have a response within 10 working days. Well thats been and gone, nothing, so I made my weekly call. I was advised a letter was sent out yesterday advising me that my remaining payment would be made within 3 days. I'm not holding my breath...
Waited since August for my payment! I'll let you know....0
