Lloyds TSB took 4 months with my claim - although after reading all the horror stories on this thread, I made sure I wasn't going to be one of those people waiting for 9 months to be paid - so I put pressure on them after the third month by threatening them with court action - and then they paid up by the deadline that I set them.

Its shocking how the banks think they can treat us.

It is shocking, and Im glad people are getting there money back. well done for getting back what was yours!

No communication since.

No money received.

I had the loan number also, which you have and dates, but maybe if you could give them the amount you had and the amount you paid back or the monthly payments, they may be able to advise more? I also gave them the previous address which i lived at while having the loan.

Thanks for this. Would Equifax provide me with details of amounts, etc. from the 1990s? I have learnt this morning after another telephone call that they are upholding one claim from the 1990s but they couldn't provide me with the details as the letter hasn't been uploaded onto their system. How can they uphold one and reject the othe two? I know that I had PPI on all of these loans but without paperwork it is difficult to prove. I have telephoned my branch to ask if they can supply further details. Can I ask if you received a payment and if so what information did you supply to them? Thanks again.

Loan recalculated apparently payment on friday. fingers crossed but wont hold my breath!!

Thats great news! Fingers crossed for you. How did you find out about payment, did you call them?
They are due my weekly call tomorrow....

Hi All - I put my original questionnaire in on the 5th Jan, about a week or so later i got a letter saying they had received the claim and were going to process it within 8 weeks and today i got a letter saying they had offered me £1905.00 and there was nothing else i needed to do. Very happy with this service and i appreciate i am one of the lucky ones. I dont expect my money for awhile and wont be calling them or e-mailing for a few weeks as i expect it to take that long. Just an amazing update!! I just checked my account and the money has already gone in!! Has this happened to anyone else!! I am in complete shock!! Maybe it is because the insurance was with Lloyds TSB that it came through so quick but i can not fault the service.

That's really good news Beautygirl. Are you one of the August/Sept 2011 offer letters? Have you done anything in particular to find that out? My loan has been recaculated since my offer letter in August 2011 and I received part payment but am still waiting for £1100.:(

I'm totally the same as you... Had my letter in August, part payment and recalucated but I'm waiting on nearly £2k. SOOOOOOOOOO ANNOYING!!!! :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
