FINALLY A PAYMENT!
22 weeks later I have finally received all my money...
I received £2500 for a loan back at the end of November and then have got the final £500 for my credit card today. This morning I tranferred the money over to my Nationwide account and on my lunch break today I have been and closed my LLoyds account. Gave me so much pleasure to do so!! Never dealing with them again....
Good luck to everyone, I hope you all get your money very soon. Keep fighting, keep pestering!
May 2011 - Questionnaires sent to Lloyds
August 2011 - Upheld for both Loan and Credit card
16th September 2011 - Receive my offer letters for both
November 2011 - Receive loan payment
17th Feb 2012 - Receive credit card payment
17th Feb 2012 - account closed, the end0 -

Anyway another email to Tim Tookey today still no response despite recieving confirmation that he'd read it!
also for anyone paying loads for 0845 numbers i have another number for you 0191 335 7000... this is the loans department for lloyds but they will transfer you to the PPI dept if asked..:D
I recieved my offer letter in August 2011 received part payment in Sept 2011 and am still waiting for around £1100. I have been told so many dfferent things that I don't believe anything they say anymore. I phoned this morning and was told they are re-caculating the amount but, surprise, surprise they still can't give me a date!!! I have also taken Gringos advice on here and sent e-mails, none of which have even been acknowledged and I have sent 4 to date!!
I wonder if they are trying to find a way of getting out of making the payment and that is why there is such a long delay?
I'm supposed to be using some of the money to pay off a holiday in March!! Doesn't look like it will be possible now.:mad:0 -
I've just had a phone call out of the blue from lloyds to tell me that my interest had been recalculated and my cheque will be sent out next week, seems strange that they called me, might have something to do with the email sent to the CEO a couple of weeks ago and a follow up sent this week0

Just a further word of advice - if you're thinking of going down the route that I went down, rather than emailing them, I would consider sending letters by recorded post instead.
The reason being that emails can get lost (or the person you sent it to can say that they never recieved it) and you have no proof to say they have recieved your warnings - therefore, you stand a chance of losing your court case on the grounds that you haven't given Lloyds TSB a fair warning and an opportunity to pay you (even though you know that you have - but you have no way of proving it to back it up).
If you send letters by recorded post, you can get proof that the letters have been signed for and get a proof of delivery online - therefore, you know they have definately recieved it. Then, if they lose the letter or choose to ignore it, that is their problem. At least you've done things the correct way (given the sufficient notice - with evidence in the form of a proof of delivery warning them of your intentions) - therefore, you would win the case on the grounds that Lloyds TSB owe you money - and they haven't paid up in the fair timescale that you set them.
Good luck. It worked for me - so I hope it works for you too0 -

16 weeks later (end of Sept) received letters from Lloyds confirming amounts and how payments would be made - credit card directly into account and loans by cheque.
A further 12 weeks later, I still havent received a penny from them for either and when I call them they tell me the same excuse 'We need to send email to payments dept', but there doesnt appear to be any notes on my file to say that I have called for the past 10 weeks looking for the payments, in fact my last conversation with them the young lady on the other end said that someone was working on my files but as they are opened by someone else there is no notes to advise what is going on.... My response was well is it the payment or interest recalculated, to which the lady replied 'I dont know' but give it a further 2 weeks before you call back.
I appreciate that the group is busy dealing with claims but how hard is it to press a button to transfer the money into someones account. If they did what they said then maybe they wouldnt have such high backlogs and they wouldnt have loyal customers leave them because of bad customer service.
 Come on Lloyds get your finger out.
Endless calls to the helpline at Lloyds TSB and in January received a letter informing me of a recalculation of the interested on my claim, it stated payment would be made in 7 days directly into my account.
But guess what!!! Yes they didnt do as they stated instead they sent me a cheque which I am glad to say that I received in the post.0 -
Well after receiving a phone call yesterday promising I would receive a cheque next week, ive just checked my account and it's been paid straight in , nearly £6,000 :j :j
Original complaint made october 2011, offer letter 6th jan 2012
Funny thing is she said the interest had been recalculated yet the amount I received is the original amount
Anyway, really happy this is finally finished :j0 -
Yesterday we received payment :T for three loans directly into our Lloyds account. Each amount is diffierent to anything mentioned in any letter - it's more - but there is no percentage similarity in the increases. No explanation.
We have been waiting since last August but took Gringo's advice and threatened legal action 10 days ago and, hey presto, a result!
Credit cards paid off, overdraft paid off, and great sighs of relief from all concerned.
But no explanations...
Good luck to the rest of you. It WILL happen!0 -
Hi everyone,
I hope I am posting this in the right place I am new to all of this!
I have phoned lloyds tsb making a claim for my mum.
My mum has banked with Lloyds since the 80's and when I phoned they said there was 12 accounts for loans, credit cards etc. The lady on the phone said she could see 7 definately had PPI.
My mum would never have taken out PPI if she had been informed that it was optional, and she clearly remembers been told that she had to have it and if she didnt the application would probably be declined.
However in 2004 she made a claim on ppi for an loan that she had and thankfully they made all payments for her as she became ill.
Will this affect her claim for mis-sold PPI's on loans prior to this as she did not make any claims on them?
I dont think it should really as she was still missold it in the first place, however Im not sure.
Also Lloyds said they are looking into it, what will happen about the laons she had that are more than 6 years old?
your help and advice would be much appreciated.

the older loans you can still claim on but unless you have paperwork the usually pay out standard amount of £1200 per loan unless you can prove it was worth more
hope this helps
good luck0
