started 2 credit card claims late october finally paid out in late jan and early feb 2012.
now recd offer letter today on another loan started mid december 2011.
started another loan early jan 2012 so we are waiting on that one also another claim started feb 1st.
our feeling is that lloyds have been pretty good on timings of offers and payouts so we for one are grateful we feel desperate for people waiting longer than us but our journey has not finished yet.
we hope we will be clear of offers and payouts by the end of april 2012 hopefully.
so people keep the faith .
also i feel for the staff at lloyds they are doing a very difficult job ,a job that should never have come about the person/people who introduced ppi should be shot at dawn.money money they thought.
a very bad idea me thinks.
It sounds as if you have been lucky. I complained at the beginning of December. I believe rejection letters were sent to me on 26 January but I haven't received them. I am still waiting to hear about other loans which I complained about at the same time (these loans definitely had PPI). My brother complained the week before me about several loans and he has heard nothing at all. It seems to be very random in how and when people are receiving nofication/offers. It would appear that many peoples letters are being lost somewhere in the system. They can't all possibly be going missing in the Royal Mail. I hope you get your money soon and a satisfactory conclusion on the rest. Good luck!!0 -

So frustrating especially as i have been in a situation where i owed tsb money, they were straight on my case adding interest and charging me extra getting me into a worse position, No help at all really but when they owe me........... Mmmmmmm totally different story!!!!0 -
I've been following this thread for the past 6 weeks and found it quite valuable :money:.
I orginally made my complaint in April 2011, it was upheld in August and offer accepted. Since then it was a series of broken promises, staff not knowing what they are talking about, having to repeat one's story every time and not getting anywhere .
I followed advice from here and went all "Gringo" (thanks to Gringo) on them with letter and email to PPI and copying CEO at the end of January giving them 14 days to pay up. I got a generic email back from AB with the usual blah blah. I replied back that I have been as reasonable as could be expected and was giving them 7 days to pay. She came back saying that it would be paid within 3 days (by last friday) into a specific account. No monies came into that account, I called on monday, tuesday & Wednesday and was told no payment had been made and give it a couple days. All the while I was checking THE specific account, i log into a different account this morning and lo and behold  they have made part the payment :T:rotfl:on tuesday. My loan balance has gone down. No word from Lloyds to explain the balance change or why they only part paid. How come the helpline didn't know a payment had been made on tuesday?!?
Lloyds really could have handled this PPI thing better. It looks like they are getting their !!!! together now and there is progress.
I hope everyone else waiting get their funds soon. If they keep fobbing you and you have been waiting for more than 3 months, email the CEO and T Tookey and consider getting your MP involved.
Thanks for the advice and tips gleaned here.0 -
another day and nothing here0

Still nothing today. Another phone call made and an email sent. So fed up :'_(0

Still no sign of my letters which were "apparently" sent on 26 January. I don't think so. We are talking about several loans and were all sent seperately. Strange????0

Checked my account this morning and to my surprise I have money in there...but not the full amount.
Offer letter 28th Oct 2011. I was to be paid £4823 calc to 25 November 2011.
Today money for £3245 paid into my account.
I called PPI helpline and they said there were 2 seperate payments, one was sent to my account on the 14th Feb. I confirmed I have not got this. I have been told it takes 5-7 days to show???
Anyways that amount is £1846 so total amount PPI is £5091.
No reclac letter ever received, no phone call to me saying I would be paid, money just turned up.
I have to say the last call to PPI team on Monday seemed different (spoke to Chris) and I get paid 4 days later. Partial is better than nowt.
Pleased my story is coming to an end. Good luck everyone else.0 -

Hi modey-iom - did the date of your letter that you actually receive have an odd recent date
Our letters were supposedly sent out on 12th Dec with a interest date up to 9th Jan however the dates on the letters (after rerequesting numerous times) were actually early February (with interest calculated up to 9th Jan)
Still no money !! Has been over six months since we did the intial claim (early August)0
