I wont hold my breath through fear of dying! ha ha,
Have you recieved any payment or seen any movement?
Its getting boring now!
Same - phonecall, although no acknowledgement of my emails. Assured me I would have money either tomorrow or Weds. Not holding my breat either - was given similar assurance on the 12th Jan and not seen a penny yet....0 -

My story is that back in October I put in a complaint for 2 cc's and 5 loans, letter came back saying no PPI on one of cards, have disputed this.
Then 23rd December had a letter saying complaint for cc upheld payment to be made £538, will be paid asap.
received another letter on 3rd JAn date marked 28th Dec, saying upheld on 5 loans, total £9557 to be paid asap. Interest to 19th Jan
Great I thought.......
19th Jan comes and goes, no payment. So emailed a week later saying will recover money via court if not paid in 10 days.
Day 10, £538 paid into my account, progress at last.
A week later wrote an email to CEO and PPi team, saying dont take the pee, please pay or I will go to court, takes as long to write an email as it does to pay into my account......
2 days later email from AB, saying will recalculate etc, no time scale though, so expected to wait a while, but low and behold today a cheque that was written on the 9th Feb along with a letter that said they had written to me on the 7th, er dont think so.....however, interesting to note that £27 extra and issued on the last day I had said would be prepared to wait, even more interesting is the fact they they said they would put it in my account.
Still all good news, but I do have to wonder whether or not the threat (that I would have carried out) worked?????
Good luck to all those still waiting:rotfl::rotfl:
Martin Lewis rocks, so does Amersall, Beamerguy Cappo and all others that help us out. Am now 20 grand better off thanks to all of you xxxxxIF HIND SIGHT WAS FORESIGHT WOULD I STILL NEED TO GO TO THE OPTICIANS???0 -
I received this email when do you think I will receive the money please? " Thank you for your recent communication addressed to our Customer Care Department. It is very important to us to ensure that our customers receive competent yet helpful and friendly advice, during any business dealings they may have with us and I am sorry to hear that you have had cause to voice your concerns with the Business.
I appreciate how frustrating it is to be waiting for your refund. Having checked our records I can confirm that your refund was raised using our BACS system on 10 February 2012 this will credit your Lloyds TSB Account in a matter of days.
I trust this addresses your concerns" anyone's advise would be appreciated thanks.0 -

I hope so... I'm part of the August bunch and no sign of my money0 -
ShirleyK, they done the same to me and my sister! We knew that we both had PPI but they sent us both letters saying we did not have! I just phoned them up and they said it was a mistake! Mmmmmm........... funny how it happened to both of us!
On a lighter note I HAVE BEEN PAID!!!!!! :j:j:T It was put into my account on Thursday by a CHAPS payment! So excited that I don't have to deal with this anymore! Well it only took them 6 months to put the money in my account!
Hope everyone else that has been waiting as long as me gets their money soon!
Thanks for your reply. Did all you do was phone up and they changed their decision? Did you not have to put anything writing? Were your loans also from the 1990s? Could you please tell me a little more? Did you get the £1200 gesture? Glad to hear you've been paid out. I'm sure you are pleased to finally get a conclusion.0 -

Peaople who have recieved cheques today. Has your loan been recalcualted?0 -
let me start by saying iv decided to comment on here down to the constant abuse Lloyds customers have given a family member who works in the PPI department. (alot of it has been personal and uncalled for)
Any questions you have i can try to direct you futher but from what i have been told and from some of the silly comments on here there are people that just dont understand that a date on when their payment will be made will never be given to them!
i am glad to see alot of you have been paid but to those people who think that phoning a department every single day to be told the same thing has drained Lloyds resourses and actually slowed your payments down???0 -

A big company should have a big enough employee base to fulfill all their duties. I am sorry your family member has been rude too I totally disagree with that but to say one department answering calls from customers who have been left in the dark has delayed our payments is ridiculous0
