I am thinking of emailing Lloyds as follows: -
Dear Sir
I am currently 13 weeks pregnant and am thinking of going to a bookmakers and placing a bet that my baby arrives before your cheque. I think my odds are good !!
Kind regards
What do u reckon:rotfl:

Oh My God
Checked the bank just been paid and an email from AB advising they have added an extra £100.00 in compensation to cover costs and inconvenience
MY Story
Claimed September 2011
Offer leter 09/12/11 interst calculated until 05/01/12
80 emails 2 in Poutugese as that is their chairmans native tongue, a letter from my MP about 6 hours on the phone ans payment in my account todaywasn't in at 3 so must have been a same day payment today so keep the pressure on e mail your MP sign the epetition and eventually you will be paid.0 -
Finally some contact from them - a rather patronising lady called Andrea something phoned tell me that they had to check that the cheques which were allegedly sent on the 12th Jan and never arrived hadn't been cashed, and then they would make a special payment, which should be in my account on Tuesday. Having read these boards for a good while, I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for it.
I am absolutely certain that it is only because I have involved my MP and complained to the CEOs office that I have had any response, so would strongly advise everyone to do the same. There is a very useful website which can give you CEO email addresses - just google!0 -
I wonder if Forum users could help please. Are Lloyds TSB replying to complaints within the 12 week time frame? If they do not reply within the 12 weeks, what can I do? My brother and I receieved acknowledgments on 1 and 5 December respectively but haven't heard anything since. I realise that currently it is only 10 weeks but I was just wondering if others have had similar experiences who contacted Lloyds TSB around the same time as me/us.
Also, could I ask another question please? I read a few months ago about some people receiving £1200 from Lloyds TSB as "a gesture of goodwill". Does anyone know what this is for?
Thanks.
1200 is a "standard" settlement for PPI for which the paperwork can't be found, and is apparently based on the average settlement, I believe.
12 weeks is a joke.0 -

Thanks for this. So are Lloyds paying out £1200 to everyone who can prove that they have loans even if they don't have the paperwork (either party)? I had 3 loans from the 1990s and I know that they all had PPI on them. I have the loan account numbers and when they started. My branch even gave me a print out of the loans. While I did not request PPI, I was advised on each occasion that if I did not take PPI then I wouldn't get the loan. I'm sure many of us have experienced this treatment and mis-selling. Is it worth claiming?0 -

Very much so - having the numbers is a good start. Good luck.0 -
