Was given the usual backlog excuse + we appreciate that you're frustrated blah, blah can't give you a payment date, nor can we tell you where abouts you are in the system.
Saw this published in this weekends observer money page Search lloyds PPI on the money sectioon of the website.
I'm not allowed to post links but her name is Margret Dibbens.
Have a look I've e mailed her - maybe if more of us do it will help?
I've just emailed her too0 -
Well a little up date after sending a few more emails including one to my MP who wasn't the greatest assistance "I've sent them a letter asking them to pay you as soon as possible". I fanlly spoke to somebody yesterday who actually appeared to care. She advised the notes on the account says a CHAPS payment was sent 04/02/2012 am I sure it is not in your account advised I would not overlook £7.5K. Advised to wait until the end of yesterday as it ws next working day is sure payment will arrive. You guessed it no sign. Allowed another working day called at about 5 this evening and was told that even though it had gone to the payment department just means it will be paid by CHAPS but some time within the next 3 months!!!! Has anybody taken legal action and what was the outcome?0

when did you originally make the complaint andy and when did you get the offer letter?0
-
Can I ask since they got more staff once people have been recalculated are they actually getting processed for payment now0
-
In short. NO.
Not older claims/offers anyway - they seem to be tied up in a bundle of mess that no-one wants to deal with...
My original offer letter = 21st September 2011
Interest calculated to = somewhere in October 2011.
Nothing for weeks, called twice a week. No answers, lots of promises from managers, all fiction.
Got MP involved.
Part payment received along with famous recalcs letter = 8th December 2011.
Interest to 3rd Jan 2012.
Remainder sent for restructering of open loan.
Call on the 4th of Jan to find out if the restructering has been done, no-one at the loans team knows what I'm talking about, no money, no instructions from the PPI team.
Informed money is 'lost in the system' due to inter-departmental dispute over how funds are transferred.
Being looked into / With the CEO office / Can't give you time lines / keep checking your account.
MP updated and informed that I will take legal action to reclaim the amount owed to me by LLoyds (just shy of 7k).
Currently waiting to see what the formal response is to this before I issue a payment deadline to Lloyds, which is likely to be ignored so I will make a claim against them.
Whilst I have received part payment, this was about a third of what was owed. Been waiting since September 2011 - this is a disgrace and as a business they should be ashamed.0 -
Oh my god I've been paid:j:j
Got a letter with cheque attached for the full amount. I can't tell you how happy I am but I will admit to doing a little dance round the kitchen.
I put my claim in around September last year got an offer letter in December interest till 4th of jan.
I made 2 calls 1 before Xmas & one on the 5th of jan. after reading this thread realised it was pointless call so just sat tight & waited. Must admit that had pretty much given up hope of seeing any money before the summer & other than checking here for news gave up worrying about money I didn't have even though I really needed it.
I will still be checking to see how you guys are getting on as felt a pang of guilt realising there are still so many waiting & there's me doing a victory dance.
I hope you guys get to do the victory dance very soon0 -
jesus just logged on to my lloyds account and 11k been paid in despite being told it would be a cheque
exactly 8 weeks been waiting, thank god the mental torture is over
good luck to everyone else who is waiting0 -
hi modey-iom i emailed 31st january and recieved a reply a couple of days latter stating that the issues i had raised would be adressed in 10 working days and that was from andrea barry she also said a copy of the e-mail had been sent to the ceo office, could be a coincidence but who knows give it a try but dont be rude or offensive,if you look back a couple of pages in this thread you will see what i sent
also repeatedly told i would be paid by cheque but it went in via bacs, never asked for account details
good luck!0 -
Well just received an email from [Removed by FT] saying that my money will be paid into my account by close of play today by CHAPS payment as that is 18 weeks today since I received my second offer letter!
I am going to be checking my bank all day!!!!0 -
i've just recieved an email from [Removed by FT] basically telling me what i already knew, the offer letter was sent out on 6th jan ( i never received it) and my money would be paid by cheque , but can't give me a date, she is aslo resending the offer letter, this will be the third one and i'm yet to actually receive one.
what i can't understand is why the payment is co ming by cheque, i still hold all my account with lloyds and have done for over 20 years, so why are some people being paid by CHAPS and others by cheque?0
