I wonder if Forum users could help please. Are Lloyds TSB replying to complaints within the 12 week time frame? If they do not reply within the 12 weeks, what can I do? My brother and I receieved acknowledgments on 1 and 5 December respectively but haven't heard anything since. I realise that currently it is only 10 weeks but I was just wondering if others have had similar experiences who contacted Lloyds TSB around the same time as me/us.

Also, could I ask another question please? I read a few months ago about some people receiving £1200 from Lloyds TSB as "a gesture of goodwill". Does anyone know what this is for?

    Thanks.
  • Hi

Can anyone tell me who has received a cheque from lloyds if it came via registered mail? I received a letter with an offer from Lloyds on 17th Jan and was told the money should be getting paid direct into my account, I've not received anything so far - not that I'm surprised after reading how long most people have been waiting. Today I had a slip from Royal Mail saying that they tried to deliver a letter whilst I was out but it requires a signature. I have to wait 24 hours before collecting it and I'm hoping they have sent a cheque, if anyone could confirm this is how they get sent out I would be very grateful - don't want to get my hopes up!!
  • Hey guys,

I have now been waiting since August for my money on a sucessful Lloyds loan claim and I am starting to get angry.

I had part payment in September (£1500, but the claim was sucessful for £3500). I have called every week for the past two months and I, like everyone else, have been fobbed off with excuse after excuse. I've written a complaint letter in January (no response), I've been told I'm on the priorty list, that payment will be with me within a week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks... on and on... I was last told that my case had been flagged up by the payments team, anyone else had this?

I was wondering about going down the MP route but I dont know what to say. Can someone please give me an idea of what to inform them of and if anyone has had any luck?

I have also recently had another sucessful claim against my Lloyds credit card and no doubt I'll be waiting a lifetime to see that money. I also have another Lloyds loan with PPI taken in 2009 but with a seperate direct debit, but I was told that I needed this to be accepted. Does anyone think this is worth a claim?

I received my acknowledgement letter on 31st October 2011 and still haven't received the offer letter despite them telling me they have sent it twice, once on 6th Jan and the second time on 24th Jan, in the email I got today I have been told it will be sent out again today, not holding up any hope of actually getting it
  • My letter was dated 23 October 2011 and still no money and no date of when i will be paid, despite numerous letters, calls and even a letter from my MP. The only letter i have recieved from them is to tell me I am overdrawn and will be charged £10 per day!!

    LloydsTSB is a complete joke!
  • theres never any updates!!!!!!!!

GRRR Ive now emailed this Tim Tookey and Margaret Dibben, If anyone has any more tips on how to get them to cough up please let me know!!

Has anyone else recieved the interest but not the rest of the money?

Hi Beautygirl - would you be able to give me the email address of these two people?

    Hi there,

I have received an offer on 31st December. The cheque arrived at the end of January but it was for interest only. I called them just to be told that the refunds of premium and interest are dealt separately as the loan I had PPI on is still running. Also, the offer letter had interest calculated up till 10th January only so anyway the amount should be recalculated as I didn't get it by then. Since the offer letter I had 2 loan installments debited from my account but obviously the PPI was not taken out of the amount I am paying so there have been another 2 months I have been paying for PPI. I called them just to be told it's going to be recalculated but dates as usual... unknown
