lividatlloyds - i've been told twice now that they have sent out two letters of offers which surprise surprise never arrived, i'm pretty sure they are just blatantly lying to people telling them cheques/letters have been sent out when they haven't, i put my complaint in back in october and have received no communication from them at all, the only way i found out about my offer was when i rang them after 12 weeks.
Really shocking customer service, i have banked with them for over 20 years but once this is sorted i will be leaving them0 -
can any one help pleasehi all hope you can help
my daughter bf had ppi (mis sold) lloyds loan approx 4 years ago he is homeless at the moment, stays between friends, here on occassions etc etc
how can he claim back the ppi as he hasnt got an acutal address, he still owes on the loan but hasnt given them an address, as he hasnt got one and is in default as on benefits
he has been looking hard for a job but unsuccessfully(not helped by no address, and is happy to pay off the loan when in work once again, went through a bad spell with depression so defaulted on the ppi payments hence they would not pay the loan payments etc he fits the criteria for being mis sold.
i am unwilling to allow him to use my address due to the debt! but how can he claim back the missold ppi payments, he is happy if they just take it off the amount owed etc doesnt necessarily want any cash so to speak,
or (and please I dont want a load of abuse) should he hide low for another two years and go statute barred with the debt
he was given a 10,000 loan on his 18th birthday! no questions asked! silly i know but has grown more sensible with age!Save 12k in 2015 member 187. £62.50/60000 -
How long do LTSB keep records of PPI policies? I'm about to put in a claim for PPI on a credit card I've had since 2000. I know I was told I had to take it to have the cc approved but won't it just be my word agains theirs?
I know I didn't need it as I get (and got then) full 6 months sick pay, 6 months on half pay and no threat of redunancy. At all. Even now my organisation is recruiting! Had life assurance and critical illness cover too.
Are LTSB knocking back many claims at the moment?0 -
Still nothing for me and my offer was august !!!! I just can't see how they can justify the way they are paying out claims??????0

thanks karengibo didnt want to effectively put my foot in it if the best route would be to go for the statute barred
will give them a ring and take it from thereSave 12k in 2015 member 187. £62.50/60000 -
Finally been paid today !!!:j:j:j:beer::beer:
orignal claim made in August, offer letter 01st December, 72 days since that was received. Called them on a daily basis from January 4th. Emails sent on a daily basis since 20th January. I got my local MP involved on 27th January. Not sure if any of this helped at all but you never know. I wish everyone with outstanding claims every success.
I am still utterly disgusted at LloydsTSB and will be moving banks0 -
Okay I called and got an update she seemed surprised I hadnt received payment yet asking me 3 times and if i regularly check my account. I got a recalculation on the 3rd which incidentally is the day [Removed by FT] sent me an email. The woman was quote insistent they're paying recalcs within 7 to 14 days and many people are getting the money before tge letter so hopefully im nearly there after my first offer on October 3rd0
