Bootonie- can I just ask what issues did you raise ?
10 days to wait !!!!0 -
this is what i sent.
dear sir, i have banked with lloyds tsb for some 20 years now and on the whole it is a name i have allways looked up to
and have usually recieved excellent service from, and would like to remain with such a recognised name, but my faith in customer
service is being put to the test,i along with others am dissmayed at how i was sold ppi insurance,i believed that the information and advice
i was given on several loans would be for my benefit and that the bank had my personal circumstances at interest.
i was hugely dissapointed to find out that i could have in fact bought this insurance independently and it would be a lot less expensive than the insurance offered
by lloyds, also i recieve 90% of my weekly wage so this would have been adequate should i become ill.
so along with others i felt a injustice had been done and felt cheated so persued a claim.
i recieved a final offer letter dated 9th dec offering a final payment on £
which had the 8% interest calculated to the 27th of december
obviously that has come and gone and to date have not been asked for any bank details,i have phoned up only to be told "dont know when you will get it"
and i read that many other people have experienced this and have been waiting a long time.
i understand that the level of complaints has escalated and that there is a back log,but no letter to explain this!
surely this makes bad buissiness sense to delay payment and inccur more interest with lloyds reporting huge losses is this set to get worse?
i feel that it may be a underhanded plan to delay payments for what ever reason and as a uk taxpayer that now contributes to lloyds tsb should be
better informed as to what is happening.
i am now planning to contact alan duncan my local mp to highlight the gross miss-selling to me by the local lloyds tsb branch at
and the farce that is the ppi payout experience.
i am doubtfull that i will recieve a response regarding this e-mail but would be gratefull if you could restore my faith in lloyds banking.
yours sincerely neil booton.

hi all hope you can help
my daughter bf had ppi (mis sold) lloyds loan approx 4 years ago he is homeless at the moment, stays between friends, here on occassions etc etc
how can he claim back the ppi as he hasnt got an acutal address, he still owes on the loan but hasnt given them an address, as he hasnt got one and is in default as on benefits
he has been looking hard for a job but unsuccessfully(not helped by no address, and is happy to pay off the loan when in work once again, went through a bad spell with depression so defaulted on the ppi payments hence they would not pay the loan payments etc he fits the criteria for being mis sold.
i am unwilling to allow him to use my address due to the debt! but how can he claim back the missold ppi payments, he is happy if they just take it off the amount owed etc doesnt necessarily want any cash so to speak,
or (and please I dont want a load of abuse) should he hide low for another two years and go statute barred with the debt
he was given a 10,000 loan on his 18th birthday! no questions asked! silly i know but has grown more sensible with age!Save 12k in 2015 member 187. £62.50/60000 -
Is there a deadline for the PPI compensation, like a point when Lloyds says "thats it, too late, unclaimed money that was put aside goes back to investors"?, I mean there must be a point when the cash draw gets closed 'once and for all'0
