my journey as follows:
November 7th 2011 = Initial complaint over the phone with PPI team
November 12th 2011 = acknowledgement letter
January 12th 2012 = offer rec'd
January 21st 2012 = loan balance reduced online by £2000
January 30th 2012 = cheque issued rec'd today!
I have not emailed them nor have I rang them at any point to chase, I've let them get on with it.
I was very happy with the 12 weeks it took from start to finish!
when cashed in Lloyds today they asked me what i was doing with the money!!??? cheeky mo fos
Hope you all get your money soon
Well done for getting your money back but I have a question. When you say that your loan was reduced does that mean that llyods took money away from your offer amount & put that towards your loan? or Did they pay back the ppi that you have paid since putting in your claim?
The reason I'm asking is that when I realised that I was paying ppi I cancelled that payment & put a claim in.
I'm really hoping that llyods won't be paying my claim into my loan as it won't be enough to clear my loan & as it's not their money I don't think they have the right to decide where it goes.0 -
Just got off the phone to the customer no care team and think there could be possible movement as they said a note was put on my file at 7.30 this morning saying my claim is fully recalculated never had that one before??? So maybe fingers crossed that my next post on here is saying I have been paid!!!!
But I won't hold my breath as I just don't believe a word they say anymore.......0 -
Hi - just an update I havent been paid today
(
Received an email from AB on 24th January stating I would have my money be next week Friday comes and still no money, I have phoned them and they didnt have an answer. Can honestly say I am so fed up of the whole thing.
If I dont receive money by next week I will be taking them to court, I had my offer letter on the 24th October. The person I spoke to also said that all my calculations had been done and I was ready to go!! aghhhh!!!0 -
Just received the generic apology email from a barrie does anyone who has received the letter know if she actually gets your file looked into? Offer letter was 18weeks ago!0

No money for me today either.
I received a reply to the email I sent to the Chief Exec and all it basically said was that they were wanting a contact telephone number form me, so they could look in to my complaint in more detail !!!
Just PAY ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
The wife got a cheque yesterday so shes had 3 payouts from them in no order what so ever and also I would of thought they would of paid it back into her account that the loan gets paid out of instead of sending a cheque and wasting money and time.
Hope everyone else gets some news soon!0 -
Finally been paid.!!! Just checked my account and there it is. Could hardly believe it! :j Hope everyone else gets their refunds soon0
