Today I have received payment for my credit card, yippee!! Complaint went in 21st October 2011. Upheld/offer letter was dated 23rd December, just said would be paid as soon as possible. Having not heard anything I then emailed the PPI team saying that I felt that I had waited long enough and that if payment wasn't made I would go to court. Day 7, have been paid.
however, have only been paid for credit card, am still waiting for £9,557 for loans the letter stated interest up to 19th January, so am willing to wait another few days and then will sent them another email.
I hope those of you still waiting get paid soon :beer:IF HIND SIGHT WAS FORESIGHT WOULD I STILL NEED TO GO TO THE OPTICIANS???0 -

My friend has. It was him that advised me to use them to claim my PPI back - but I did it 'solo' and now i've been paid.
He's been waiting for 18 months due to various problems along the way with different banks.
Claim companies have no more power than me or you. They can't get your money any quicker.
They just charge 20% for sending a letter - something we can all do for the price of a first class stamp.0 -

Hi everyone
Goods news, I got paid today!! Here's a quick brief on my story.
Claim made June 2011
Upheld August 31st 2011
Offer letter 6th dec, interest until 6rd January 2012
Additional interest letter 18th January 2012
Recalculated 25th January interest up to 22nd February 2012
Cheque arrived today.
It has taken numerous phone calls and emails. They even stated payment would be made into my lloyds tsb account, but actually paid me by cheque.
Keep the faith, it's been 32 weeks for me, but relieved its over!
Good luck to all of you!!0 -
Just out of interest, is the additional interest worth claiming even if its 20 days worth?
The reason being, Lloyds paid me today, but didn't recalculate any extra from the date they said they'd pay interest to - which was the 10th January.
So its only about 22 days worth of interest - but I can't be bothered to chase it up if its only gonna be for £2-£3.0 -
Ahhhhhh this is driving me mad been over a year now since i had to wait for the test case to end. October 3rd was given offer date! Still nothing0

My additional interest was only £5, as they original should of paid me on the 6th, so about 2 weeks worth, so no not work claiming. But as they recalculated on 25th to 22nd feb, they paid me an extra £35. I'm guessing your additional interest will depend on how much your claim was for, in total, I received £2,001.0
