  • Was expecting a very long wait on this but very pleases with the quick turn a round. Details as follows

Sent first letter 12th August 2011
    Reply 19th August 2011
Offer letter received 23rd September 2011
    Cheque received today for £5434.23

I have not called them and only wrote my initial letter to them during this time.

As I said I was expecting a very long wait for payout but they have really surprised me. According to the comments in this thread there does not seem to be any order in paying out at all and although I am very pleased getting my payout so quickly I think it's unfair that people have been waiting a lot lot longer than me.

Good luck everyone who has a got an offer and here's hoping you all get payed out soon .

It was for credit card ppi. Originally taken out 1990 closed January 2011

    1. Has anyone threatened to sue LTSB for breach of contract (by accepting the offer to settle)?

    2. There is a serious amount of justified anger on show in this thread (myself included) - this thread is on Martin Lewis' website - what is he doing about it? If nothing has anyone invited him to do anything? He must have people monitoring these threads...

    Hi,
Hope you don't mind me asking but what was your complaint, mine has just been rejected, I complained it was added without my knowledge, I never asked for it it, or was asked if I wanted it - my CC opened in 1996?

I messaged him this afternoon to highlight the issue to him, but to be fair he is a busy man and is under no obligation to even read my message!

PS; credit card paid already - seems to be a theme with them, CC PPI team seem to be on the ball, probably not as many claims?
