Nicki1968, so glad you have been paid. I am still waiting but i am not holding out for anything. It seems to be that they are starting to get moving again now for some reason. I think i may ring again today and see if i can get any information.

If it goes beyond the date they calculate the interest i would give it 2 weeks then contact them, my interest was calculated to the 18th Jan so they were nearly at 2 weeks after my date.

I know alot of people who had interest to the 6th have also been paid, so it may give a little indication by that, but i wouldn't rely on it. :(

I hope you receive your money soon LauraVal1 ;)

I had a loan dated 09.2002 sent complaint to Lloyds and in Sept Rejected it for no apparent reason, just states on letter looked at my compaint and feels it was not mis-sold. I have since sent to FOS and called for reason for rejection. All they tell me is that loans around that date have been rejected as at the time of taking out the loan you could not cancel but you received a letter stating you had 14 days to cancel the PPI??????

Has anyone taken out a loan around the date above and been rejected or upheld?

    Thank you
  • My interest was calculated to 6th Jan and they havent paid me yet :(
  • I've finally been paid :j:j:j
First claim letter went in mid May, claim upheld at the end of August, calculation letter on 5th Sept, interest recalculated on 21st Dec and finally after umpteen phone calls the money went in today.

I hope everyone else gets their money soon.

Still no payment today. I wrote to my local MP late yesterday afternoon and by 5.30pm he had replied saying that he had spoken to someone at Lloyds and was waiting for someone to call him back. Feel a little more hopeful now that I have the backing of my MP. I urge anyone to give it a go.

Just emailed [Removed by FT] again to remind her that i've set a deadline of the 14th February for my refund to be paid - otherwise i'll be recovering it through the courts.

I've also sent two letters, by recorded post, to Lloyds TSBs Newport branch, and their dedicated PPI address, which were both signed for by them on the 30th January - so they've now had three official warnings (they require one warning in order to take it to court in order to give them the opportunity to settle it beforehand).

They've now had three and a half weeks notice in total (from the time I originally emailed [Removed by FT]) - so if its not in my account by the 14th, i'll be taking it to court.

I've already looked into all the in's and out's of it, and its actually quite simple. It costs £110 to take it to court (for the amount i'm claiming for) - and that £110 gets passed on to Lloyds TSB anyway by the court.

If they think i'll go away, or i'm making idle threats, then they're in for a surprise :)
  • Good for you gringo 2000-put the frighteners on them. Honestly I think we are all so fed up of waiting now, we will try most anything. I have never known anything like this :-(
  • Hello everyone, I've been following this for awhile now & thought it was time I share my ppi woes.
Put in my claim back in September had my claim upheld in December with interest calculated till the 4th of jan. so far I've not received a penny of my £3000.
Like most of you I could really do with the money. To make matter worse I'm also waiting on another £3000 tax rebate that is owed me & the tax man is taking as long as llyods to pay up.
I don't understand how these big organisations can get away with holding on to our money like they do, you, or me fail to pay we get a fee slapped on us yet we seem to be powerless against them.
I've rang a couple of times to be told its with the payments department & should be any day now. I'm beginning to think that llyods & the tax man work out of the same office.
    So sick of waiting.
  • Well i've had a couple of days of the usual nonsense on the phone from Lloyds - and we seemed to be actually making progress leading up to Christmas. The new tactic of routing calls to a far away land to the sarcastic robots who seem more concerned with am I having a nice day than actually resolving ANY issue relating to Lloyds complaints does not get things off to a good start either...

I received part payment (from a closed loan and two lots of interest) before Christmas, along with my recalcs letter. It equates to a third of the money that is owed, still waiting on just short of 7K.

Anyway, the sorry fiasco story continues

Recalcs letter = 8th December 2011 (original offer letter 21st Sept)
    Interest to = 3rd January 2012

4th Jan - no money 'its lost in the system'

31st of Jan - ' there is a backlog you just have to wait, your case is with the CEO's office'

I am waiting for my open loan to be restructured, the team that do this have received NO instruction and NO funds. There is an average wait time of 10 working days up to 21 working days for this process to happen.

    Its the 1st of Feb.

Contacted MP again today to update on lack of progress.
Sick to death of this and will be actioning a court claim for payment, in hindsight should have done this after waiting more than 30days...

I'm sure the CEO's office is treating my case as a priority, as soon as they have divvied up their bonuses for the year.
