wow, been reading the last few pages and realise how lucky I am.
Put claim in 28th November
Offer letter 14th Jan, interest calculated until 6th Feb,
Checked bank this morning to check if salary gone in and full payment of ppi and interest went in 3 days ago!!!!
It does look like I have been repaid and the amount has also come off my loan!!!
managed to spend £4,000 of it in less than an hour, good luck everyone :j0 -
I received the remainder of my refunds yesterday.
I started the process during the first week of June last year; my offer letters were dated 22nd September and the ppi refund on my current loan went into my bank account on the 12th December. If it weren't for my current loan, I would be closing my account with them.
I found that calling them every week didn't help at all as I received the same answers, huge backlog, I hadn't been forgotten, they were treating all claims in date order, blah, blah blah. My emails of complaint to the director of the PPI and to the lady who is mentioned on this forum, didn't help either as the replies said the same as everyone else.
I am relieved I have my refunds, but I am angry that it took so long and at the shambles of the administrative process (some people who applied after me were paid really quickly and some people who applied before me are still waiting - where is the sense in that?).
I hope that all those who applied before and around the time I applied for my refunds, will receive your refunds within the next few days.0 -
Our PPI repayments were calculated to the end of October. We are still waiting but have also been advised by the so-called 'help' line to put in another claim for compensation AFTER we get the initial payment as asking for a recalculation now 'will only delay matters' ! Not quite sure why they think they aren't 'delaying matters' now...0

Really pleased for you, offer letter 14th Oct, received 1 payment 19th
Dec for 2 loans, received letter 22nd Dec for card claim with interest to 18th Jan.......still no money!
It's obvious that any new claims are being dealt with straight away so they don't put themselves even more in the sh*t, i hope Lloyds are totally stuffed for their lack of ability to deal with these claims.
A lot of the other banks seem to be able to pay out within less than a month from start to finish. I've banked with Lloyds for over 20 years and they are quick enough to send me a letter if i go even 1p overdrawn and then have given me ridiculous charges for the privilege....
I appreciate compared to some i have been lucky to have had part of what i am owed but all the same it is very frustrating. I have rang only 3 times as i really don't see the point in running up a phone bill only to be told the same rubbish, blah blah your claim has been passed to the payments team!
Roll on Monday an let's see if they've managed to get their finger out!:mad:Vanquis 2800/3000:mad: Barclaycard 3100/3300
Aqua 1200/1350 Lloydstsb o/d 3000 :mad:0 -

After receiving an email 2 weeks ago i was thinking it sounded quite promising, Mrs Barry mailed me sayind she would be in contact beginning of last week when she had more details and a timescale to offer!! 1 week gone and still no contact or none the wiser, First letter received in august then 1 claiming my award would be paid as a priority in November and im still waiting!!!!!!!!
Im thinking im going to send multiple emails a day until i get some reply!!!!
so annoyed!0 -
Well nothing me again today so i shall be ringing up to just ask for a polite update to see if there is any progression with my claim. So happy for the ones that have been paid around the same time as my interest calculation date but so annoyed that it's not me :mad:0

Am I the only one left from august that's still waiting for payment??????
Happy for all you dec and jan payments but think Its so unfair when there are so many of us that I have been waiting since last summer!!!!0 -

I am afraid you aren't. We have still been waiting since the summer and have been told that 'when' we get it we then apply for compensation for not having been paid it when it was due.
I will believe it when I see it...0
