Again nothing for me today...Wrote another email this time stating it as an official complaint and that if I don't get an acknowledgement to the email by the end of the day i will be taking it to the Financial Ombudsman. Also called and got the hopeless Bridge End call centre. They actually put me through to a supervisor this time who said she would send an email. I advised her that emails were sent last week and earlier this week and they still do not answer them. I will be calling and emailing every day until they pay me

  • Hi all! First time poster, so be gentle!

I am getting sooooooo sick of Lloyds TSB! Got a letter offering £7000 on 22nd Dec 2011, still no payment! Many telephone calls, emails, letters later...still no refund of MY money! I am sick of the whole process, so I really feel for those who have been waiting months.

I have a theory on how Lloyds are spending the interest gained on our witheld money...they are paying the poor 'helpline' staff a grand wage. Thats the only way I could put up with listening to call after call complaining! Although I do think that the 'helpline' should just be called the 'line', as the staff there, no matter how apologetic they are, really do offer no help at all!

Here's hoping for a speedy repayment, but I seriously am not holding my breath!
  • Hi All don't forget to sign the petition that JonC33 set up. The link is below for every one to click onto. http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/28363 so PLEASE every one go an sign it and tell every one that is in the same boat as us to get and sign it.
  • Still waiting! Many letters and emails, total waste of time.

    Claim June
    Offer October
    Recalculated November
    Recalculated December
    Recalculated January

Letter from AB promising payment this week. Nothing.

I feel heartily sick of the whole episode, and totally ashamed that this is a British bank treating me in this way after 40 years as a customer.

    Waiting for £15k!!!!!!
  • Recieved an email from Amanda Barry today. She decided to ignore half of my email, and just gave a generic response of "we've got a backlog, can't tell you when you'll recieve your payment, etc".

Needless to say, I sent her a rather abrupt email back stating that I don't give a damn about their delays, etc as its their problem - not mine - and made it clear that I want my payment by February 15th, otherwise i'll begin court action.

Its in her hands now - pay by the 15th - or it'll go to court. I don't mess about - if they think its a threat, then they'll have a shock when I actually do it.
  • Hmm this looks a good epetition why have only 33 people signed it so far
  • Hi can someone please advise me on this. I hope I dont sound to greedy but i dont want to get cheated. I made a few calls to lloyds regarding 3 seperate PPI claims. they sent me some vague calulations that did not have a proper breakdwon and I got offered 3600 but i dont think i am getting my full entitlement. i call to say i was not happy with the calclations and asked them to recheck again as someone suggested i should be expecting more.

i still have not heard anything. what shhould be my next move.
  • Okay on your advice I just sent an email to my MP so fingers crossed
  • Claim submitted on 12th May 2011.
Partial payment came through last week. They still owe me £3330 but have had almost £12k so was happy with that for now.

In order to get payment i went through the following steps :

    - Submitted claim.
    - Left it a month then rang to see what was going on.
    - Left it 4 months then hounded the call center. (Generic response every time).
    -Got in touch with ombusman.
-Sent letter via registered delivery to CEO.
-Emailed a few high lvl members of Lloydstsb.
-Received email from AB. (thought it was generic one)
-Phone call from Ab's secretary telling me that money had gone into my account (wasnt the correct amount but she assured me that the remainder will be paid in as soon as recalculations have been finished on current loan).

Morale of story........try every avenue, keep hounding them the same way that they would if you owed them the money, go through ombusman. DON'T use one of those companies to claim, you dont need to, you just need patients.

Good luck Everybody who is still owed money.
