No worries! :) thanks for your support!

Just nice to feel that we're doing something different. I hope it works but can offer no guarantees.

Remember everyone - once you've signed it, check your emails and confirm by clicking the link!
  • I received an offer letter from LTSB just over a week ago upholding my compalint on PPI sold with a credit card payment only a couple hundred quid so not big but its the principle that counts!

Anyway yesterday I received a letter from LTSB saying they were putting the interest rate up on my cc by 11%!!!!! Wonder if the two things are connected?

    Dear Sir or Madam,

    Your Ref: xxxxx
    Policy No. xxxxxx

I am writing in response to your letter dated INSERT DATE, with regards to the insurance policy I was mis-sold with the above loan.

I note you in your letter you have acknowledged my complaint is justified and stated an offer of settlement would be forthcoming.

To date, I have still not received an offer of full settlement and see no acceptable reason for such a long delay in your response.

I am therefore again requesting a full refund of the premiums, subsequent interest that I have paid on these premiums plus the 8% statutory interest that a court would award. If I do not receive a suitable response within the next 14 days I will take my complaint to the Financial Ombudsman.

    Yours faithfully,

This worked for me, so may help some of you, I see no point in telephoning these people, all that it is really doing is stopping them dealing with the important paperwork ;)
  • Does any1 know how long the cheques that lloyds send out are taking to clear in a lloyds bank account?
  • Oh my god! They have paid! Been emailing daily for the last two weeks with no response and some bounce backs and it's now been paid by bank transfer. Same as original offer which was calculated up to the 5th Jan so no extra interest but definately better than nothing!:j
