Thanks Laura, i just don't think there is a system in place, i am waiting on a credit card claim, my 2 loans were sorted also in December.
From the posts that are on here lately it would seem that the extra staff they have taken on are possibly dealing with the newer claims therefore sorting them quickly, and the back log is still a 'back log' which is sooo wrong for all of those people who have been waiting well in excess of 6 months.
I really feel that i shouldn't be moaning, after only having waited since October.....still very frustrating all the same, i check my bank couple of times a day, what a waste of time.0 -
I check my bank account on a morning to see if the money has gone in my account. Does anyone know if its worth checking my account several times throughout ? I thought if the money wasn't in on a morning then there would be no transactions for the rest of the day ??0

As far as i am aware they are paying either by bacs or cheque, bacs usually shows after midnight each day, they were i believe paying via chaps a while back which is any time of the day.
I also check my account at least twice a day....waste of time :mad:0 -
I was paid interest until 6th jan so 19 days late0

Mattias, did they by any chance pay you the extra 19 days interest, be amazed if they did! :eek:0

response i got back after 10 days ,also fired off a letter today ,pointing out that THEY had mis sold me and were holding my money .Also pointed out i want a bank "for the journey " and not once that lies ,fobs people off and holds back my money .
Have also said that when i eventually get it ( ie hell freezes over ) i will be changing to a bank that looks after customers
so watch this space .....as i have been since September 16 2011

I am waiting to hear about a number of loans from Lloyds TSB for loans that have been paid off. I had paperwork for three of the Lloyds TSB loans showing PPI. The other three loans were taken out in the 1990s and all I had was the start/end dates and the Product Account Number. I have sent details to Lloyds TSB several times. I sent in the complaints at the end of November. I received 2 acknowledgement letters (one of them for loans that I did not complain about and where I did not take PPI). I have had to chase them three times about the loans from the 1990s despite sending proof. Finally I got an acknowledgement letter for these last weeks. Needless to say I have not had any offers from Lloyds TSB. They really are terrible and I feel sorry for all those people who have been waiting months to get paid out. Obviously they only have two speeds: dead slow and stop. Good luck to all those folks who are waiting on payments and/or decision.0
