Just an *UPDATE* on my claims . . ..

23-09-2011 Received acknowledgment confirmation letters about my mutiple claims

08-12-2011 Received 7 x offer letters for the various individual claims (interest upto 04-01-2012)

25-01-2012 Received £2.7k payment for 2 claims on credit cards into account this afternoon :T

Still waiting for £8.5k payment(s) for claims on my loans to be paid

Have never bothered phoning or emailing them to see how my claims are doing , I have just basically let things sort themselves out

Well done Mattias & Ali really pleased to hear you've finally got YOUR money back

Nothing again for me today.....perhaps i need to start emailing, i don't see the point in wasting time and money phoning them, at least an email doesn't take long to type and it's not the cost of a call!!!!

Sooooo want to pay some debts off and perhaps book a break away somewhere but who knows how long it'll be before they decide it's my turn :(

My calculations were to the 18th January, so we'll see how long it takes eh?

My calcs were 19th, guess what no money, just a tad annoyed, so emailed ppi team saying if money not paid in 7 days will instigate court proceedings to recover monies owed, can't be ar**d to mess about:rotfl:
IF HIND SIGHT WAS FORESIGHT WOULD I STILL NEED TO GO TO THE OPTICIANS???
  • Hi all,
I put in a claim for a PPI refund and had it upheld back in December. Like many of you i'm waiting with baited breath for payment. Reading some of the stories on here about the length of time people have been waiting is simply appalling. Tonight, I've applied for an e-petition on the government website worded as follows:

Some banks are being extremely slow in paying out refunds to customers who have been wrongly sold PPI (Payment Protection Insurance). We would like the government to investigate the delays and impose a realistic time limit on the banks to make payments. (i.e. 28 days from the date a final offer is received)
The e-petition application is being looked at and isn't live yet. If it gets accepted (i'll know within 7 days) i'll provide a link on here. Please please please sign it and get your friends to sign it. We will need to get over 100,000 signatures and then the government will debate it in the house of commons.

As soon as I know and it goes live i'll post the link.
  • Well I still have nothing so another email will be sent again. I shall also be contacting them Via Phone again.
  • I have sent another strongly worded email demanding a response

    Well nothing for me again!

That is 5 emails, 3 letters, and I have lost count how many phone calls and not a peep back from them! This is just rude! They should at least have the decency to reply to me!

The woman on the phone yesterday said I should receive my money in a few days! Really not holding my breath!

That is now 200 days since I received my first offer letter! I really don't understand how it can take 200 days to put money into someones account (a lloyds account at that)! Especially when I was told I would get it in 21 days! Oh well only 179 days late! 29 weeks and counting!
