    Well halleluiah I have acutally received my payment!

    Hope others receive theirs today soon. In summary for all those still waiting:
    22nd August - claim upheld
    8th September - 1st offer letter
    16th September - loan restructured letter
    then nothing
    calls, yielded nothing, e-mails to CEO yielded nothing
    5th Dec recalculation letter (received 12th Dec) interest to 31st Dec
    Involved MP
    told on call emergency payment authorised by CEO on 13th Dec
    more e-mails to MP & CEO
    6th Jan 2nd recalculation letter interest to 2nd Feb
    11th Dec actually received payment.

    I don't know if the e-mails & letters helped, I was beginning to think that it was in fact slowing it down - who knows!

    Anyway keep at them guys - I think Esoog is right - and hang in there you will get your money, I had given up hope of ever getting it but here we are. I am switching banks as soon as I can now.

    good luck everyone!:beer::T:T
  • Congratulations! !!!! Was it by chaps?

    Unbelievable aren't they. You just wait when your money is sitting in your account they will be after you to invest, upgrade accounts etc. They have already been asking me to upgrade. They have a nerve, only want to know and help when you don't need it, they don't care that holding on to our money may cause financial difficulties. Must be a great position to be in to just think of this money as "extra money you wouldn't have had". Makes me so mad.

    Hope you get it soon Ali:o
