Already knew that and still waiting. Anybody else here been told that the payment has gone to the refunds dept for payment processing .... and how long did it take? (sorry for those still waiting especially since August ... nuts!).

I have no idea
got my first offer letter on 20th oct for £3893.91
recals letter with interest up till 25th Nov for £3921.330 -
Made my daily call earlier today, got a pretty rude girl god knows what her name was. Was told that i will not b getting any more interest as it is not guaranteed. I dont understand that as others have been getting re-calculation letters. All other times the person told me i would get more interest. I dont think anyone has a clue what is going on at Lloyds. 12 weeks and still waiting, really not expecting any money any time soon. I actually belive they are holding out for some sort of lopehole that means they can stop paying people.
RAGE :mad:0 -
Right guys, i called this evening as my interest was paid until 6th jan!
[Individual's name removed by MSE Forum Team], ( who i spoke to) told me my money had been "submitted" for payment on the 5th of january & that she'd put a " payment chaser" note on my account, & if i dont have anything by friday to call back!
Any of you guys been told this & got your payment or is she fobbing me off?
Just wondering if i should get my hopes up or not0 -
Ok people, our complaint was submitted August (recalcs letter early Sept) so I am not one of these that has had money and run; my advice is as follows;
Don't bother ringing; these monkeys cannot and will not help you. We were escalated etc etc enough times to make us rich people; nothing came of it. My dear girlfriend found out she was pregnant (oops) in the middle of this !!!! and from then on she refused to ring them; it did not make single bit of difference to the claim - save your money if not calling from free/work.
Email the PPI address and email your MP (finding your MP is not hard; just google WHO IS MY MP) at the same time; FOR US IT WORKED TO EMAIL A VERY, VERY DESCRIPTIVE STORY FROM AUGUST ONWARDS with an explanation of the lies and exasperation; ie "no timescales/don;t ring us, check your bank instea etc etc etc" if you do not have a reply in a reasonable amount of time - ie a 10 days (that's reasonable for !!!!!! lloyds; no-one else) - THEN EMAIL AGAIN STATING YOUR DISGUST THEY CANNOT EVEN BE ARSED TO REPLY TO YOUR COMPLAINT; in plain simple english - no text speak or anger; just good old disgust; customer service etc etc; not had the decency to reply. . Eventually our email was passed to one of Andrea Villas Boas helpers who actually phoned us direct and apologised - if you no longer bank with lloyds (GOOOOOD!!) include your details in the email; finally five days after last possible promised moment & (lied about timescales etc etc etc) ; paid (TWICE; but that;s another story)
Listen my friends; ringing up (as revealed by the mystery "director" from lloyds) HAS NO EFFECT in most circumstances; the buildings are in different locations (countries!) and are unlikely to be passed onto the correct person. Only letters/emails or even....FAXES..to the people at the top will help; our emails back to us referenced the fact we had contacted the CEO (that fat !!!! Timmy) so make sure you include him.
if you are still waiting from August/Sept (OCT/NOV; you ain't seen nothing yet so stop whining!!) then get emailing/faxing/writing with ALL your info and someone WILL eventually pick you up - there were many circumstances that made us think that we simply would not be paid - but we were; mainly after getting the right people (I think?) or using the right language / involved. Do not give up; you will get your money.
one last thing; lloyds have asked nicely for repayment for the overpayment; NO SIGN OF CHEQUE THEY PROMISED FOR PHONE CALLS. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. Hmmm. let me get back to you on that one0 -
Hmm, my post may have been slightly intoxicated (I blame Thierry Henry
) but my point still stands; don't give up and don't be fobbed off by the idiots on the phone. Go straight to the top and make as much noise as possible. I mentioned in emails the fact that the sun (ergh), the Mail, Radio 4, MSE etc etc had all run stories on the lloyds farce.

My wife checked her online TSB banking just before christmas and it had over £2000 and she had no idea what it was, it was only when she rang she found out it was one of her claims then 7 days latter she got a letter saying it had been upheld etc etc she then gets a letter 28th Dec saying her other claims had been upheld and she would get another £2100 and £1953 for her other two claims that she made at the same time as the other claim, it just seems very erratic and disorganized but it is Lloyds so what do you expect haha either way its win win for her0
